Great pics !! Amusing how we have both captured similar subjects.. and in our gardens :D
@s0uljah - nice pics, man !! the first one would make a great poster !
thats Shikra (Accipiter badius) both of us have clicked. I have been spotting this one for a long time but never had him so close. Got the chance today :D
and btw, 'i-see-dead-people' is a cheat code in Warcraft III to view full map w/o exploring it ;)
Anirudh nice pics man. BTW which forest reserve do you live in :p ?

Forest Reserve I wish. Lucky enough to have a fair sized garden attached to our home. Folks are avid greenthumbs but not so much a fan of well manicured lawns and more into the overgrown scenario. :p
Believe it or not we had a fully fledged litchi tree that bore us fruit for the last so many years. It died under mysterious circumstances a few months ago.

Are you a suspect in that case?? :p
After weeks and weeks of research and trying to figure out which lens I wanted to get next, I finally decided and got myself the
Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC lens.
This lens has an impressive wide angle capability. I took some test shots and was very impressed by its performance. It's quiet, focuses quickly and feels rock solid.
I guess if you want a good wide angle lens at a good price for a cropped sensor camera, sigma 10-20mm is the answer.
The Lens.
Some Test Shots.
Cheers!

Sanjay you are making me jealous dude  .

Sanjay exceeded my expectations man. Rock solid and blends really with the camera :p . Took a few shots at home and decided that am gonna mummify the kit lens.
Pretty wide at 18mm and the best part is using the manual mode. The only gripe is that this lens doesn't have VR , looks like Nikon made this the ED type as an incentive.
