The last comment on that link was very interesting.
Does Holiday 2013 mean end of the year? If yes, then hopes of PS3 prices coming down have crashed. :(

Yes its a christmas launch! And all prices in dubai are starting to go down currently!

They have started offering bundle packs and a new God of war version is coming soon! with the Game!

I have seen offers on Carrefour site with discounts for XBox last month. (I think I posted that earlier).

Why do they bundle games of killing/ shooting/ violence? All these games are useless for kids.

Visit Palika Bazaar. You can try nehru place as well but very few shops there.
Rest it depends if it can be repaired or not.

Point is they know that the age demographic of ps3 owners has the highest percentage between the age 18-28 unlike a WII thus bundle packs for WII have mario kart as opposed to a ps or xbox

I am eagerly waiting for God of war Ascesion, Tomb Raider and GT-6.

Any more in the pipeline worth waiting for?

I am aware of Grand Theft Auto -V. I am still yet to play GTA4. I am playing FIFA 13 these days - I think sports related games can easily provide the maximum number of gameplay hours.

Guys, since we all know that PS4 is coming out soon, is it wise to buy the PS3 now? I needed something cheaper and I feel PS4 would be priced horrendously when its launched. Moreover, prices of PS3 is dropping and this is a good time to buy it. The only thing I am worried about is - will games for PS3 still be available after PS4 is launched? I dont wanna end up with a gaming console which becomes a paper weight in a few months. Also, is there anything so good in PS4 that it is wise spending that extra money on it, when compared to PS3?

Hi Raj,

In my opinion it does make sense to buy a PS3. My plan if I am in the market would be to buy a PS3 – I know games will be released on PS3 in 2013. PS4 will be available in retail stores probably by end of 2013 or early 2014. If someone is a new to gaming, I can assure you that there are plenty of games to play on PS3. Of course there might be some things on PS4 which a PS3 user might not be able to enjoy. One can buy PS3 now and complete all the popular games on this version. By the time one is done playing PS3, one can buy a PS4 then (probably 2-3 years down the line).

It all depends what kind of a gamer are you. If you want to have the latest console/games then obviously you should wait for PS4 (rather a long wait) but I would not be completely against buying PS3 now if you are a casual gamer.

Does any one have any suggestions for a good two player xBox game (Not online) but on screen ones. Even a simple ones to play with guests at home, kids, etc ? and Any suggestions for third party xbox controller to be used for the 2nd controller?
