I'm looking for changing CPU cabinet .
main requirement is it should have slim form factor ,also better if it can be placed horizontally also.
Any suggestions which brand manufactures such cabinets iball, intext etc

Something like this.
1) Iball is VFM, not the best quality, but gets the job done.

2) Dad has used his Athlon machine keeping the cabinet horizontally. However beware of one thing. I got one fan spoiled because I placed the PC horizontally. This has many things to do fan design itselt, but just a precaution as I have experienced a fan failure. Note that this fan is on the side panel of cabinet. IMHO, placing the cabinet horizontally will not have any effect on CPU or SMPS fan.

3) I suggest you go for cooler master cabinets, now they have a wider range and you can get one for Rs. 2-2.5 K.

You forgot to mention in the specs about the HD4870! Fantastic set up and the card can pretty well handle anything.

thanks for the suggestion

i have checked the coolermaster chasis at
Cooler Master - Ultimate provider of Computer Chassis | Cooler | Power Supply

but i doubt slim chasis design won't be available in coolermaster ,Antec etc

found one chasis by GlacialTech Glacialtech ― Lynx-The Electronics & Computer Superstore
but its way too pricey for 9410

Why do you want to go in for a slim chassis ? IMHO, slim chassis are not good for heat dissipation. For regular cabinets, we can have fans installed at various locations, but for a slim chassis, ventilation is a problem. You can go for horizontal placement if space is an issue.

yes most of my friends are not recommending me to go for slim chasis due to heat problem.
The main reason to go for it was space crunch on my exsisting computer table.i have kept exsisting chasis in horizontal mode as of now.

Anyways ,thanks for the inputs

cheapest ones with okay quality are made by iball.

if you want to spend more (for quality and tried and tested ventilation) you can go asus or aopen barebones. They come with mobo. hence bit costly but can be very sure with quality.

But if you plan to upgrade in future, its will be costly as half size cards (tuners, graphics etc) are expensive.
