^^Thats way too much. That headphone is now phased out and sold for 20$ abroad. They are ripping people off in India. Sennheiser's price here is way too bloated. I asked the price of the HD650 locally and it was 30k odd. Plain ridiculous if you ask me as I got the same for 300$ from B&H photovideo.

Do you guys think EP630 is right up there with other though its available for even less than half the price.
EP630.....1k $25
CX300.........$50
V-moda.......$70

Super.fi3......$65

Pro'ly i will buy super.fi3 but if difference is not much as compared to EP630(priced 3times less than fi3) then i may buy EP630 locally. What you guys have to say??

Altec Lansing doesn't seem to enjoy good reviews on newegg and could not find crossroads.

crossroads

the ep 630 costs even less (~800) if you know where to source one from. the are 85% as good as the others for <50% the price. Imho, you ought to buy the ep630's anway. If you feel dissatisfied, they werent worth much anway, and you can always find someone else who wants them. They will be easier to source too

greenhorn, are crossroads as good as super.fi3?

Altec Lansing IM716 are for only $19 for out of stock at newegg.

I'm really confused now.Is it possible that earphones ranging from 800rs to $50 to $70 can have same SQ even though its very much subjective?

Full ear headphones around 2K

hi

Im looking to buy new headphones within price range of around 2K.
Checked out music world today
A lot of models from Philips were present, also had a look at panasonic Dj100 for around 1250rs.

Technics were around 3500.
Still confused which one to go for.
please suggest some good models worth considering. Will be using the headphones mainly for listening to music.

How comfortable are the IEM's cans? I to am pondering over getting Etymotic earphones as my mini senns ( i use the MXL 51 ) are in shreds patched up with tape and i need a new pair for the gym.

OT- Senns are stupidly priced in India. I saw a neon greeen coloured pair at music world for 2500/-- .

Ps. For home/travel I use the Senn HD 280 Pro. i love them.Thye work swell even with the Ipod as they are relatively low impedance phones .

I bought Philips SHP 2700 for around 1500Rs, they quite comfortable, with great sound quality.

They are pretty okay as long as you keep volume levels in check. I use a Sennheiser CX300 while travelling. Its cheap enough (Rs 1500) so that even if I lose it, it wouldn't hurt me. The seal is quite nice and in flights, I don't hear external noise at all.
