Uninstall PC Suite / Map loader from you PC.

Download N Series version of PC Suite from nseries.com.

It is the same software, but it comes bundled with Map loader + Nokia Photos + other things.

Since everything is in the same package, this kind of configuration problem should nto occur.

Mapmyindia.com also has voice navigation. Most navigation packages would not rely on net.

Thanks for your response..I'll try this and let you know.. what advantages does the stuff in maploader offer over the maps that come with the n95 8gig any idea?
And are you yourself using any navigation package currently?

Yesterday I saw an n82 at a dealer which he claims is new. (Grey market). It seemed to be in good condition had a few light scratches on the back though and when I keyed in the code to check the clock it showed 00:00:00. Offer for 16k. Its obviously reset and tampered with. I didnt get a good vibe so I backed off from the place. Also had the se960i for 15k.

If you travel frequently, then it helps. Since you can download maps for most major cities in the world. By default, N95 and other phones have maps of few cities in India.

Just a tip... set date on your phone to something in 2010 while activating navigation and you get navigation for free till that date ;)

I am developing one stupid:

It is a navigation software + maps for some cities in India. It is open source + free. Will post details on this forum once it is ready for testing.

Better to get a new one for 19k. Cost is 19,200 at Vijay Sales in Mumbai and that includes Octroi etc.

Outside Mumbai, it should be cheaper by a few 100 Rs.

Yeah I dont want to start off my experience with a lemon.

Cheapest I found it here was for 19.5k delivered to me.

Called subhiksha, they are selling it for 19,300. Better then getting it delivered I guess.

I don't get it, but now a days some big stores have mobiles cheaper then Ebay / Online shops.

Already got it netfreak... n82 black. But thanks anyway :)

Global Access : 19900/-
Croma : 19660/-

My old dealer : 19450/-

Iv bought close to 5 phones from him and my friend buys from there too so decided to continue the relationship.

Now I need a nice case for it or its going to lose that bling shine.

Thanks!

They are obviously not smoking the good stuff :uncontrol

guys any reviews on E71, i'm planning on buying this as my primary email & net focused phone. My N82 also does the email but i can't have it on low battery by 6pm

Used one a friend has just bought. Looks excellent, really nice size compared to the E61 & seems well built. Keys are small though so make sure you're comfortable using them.

How much did it cost you?

37k with bill and warranty. Bought 6 months back by my cousin, he actually wanted a feature rich phone and gave it to me. I too want another phone and want to sell it off now.

What do you think is the best way to sell phones like these?

Selling phones like this is a real problem. Univercell website has the exchange price of 8800 as Rs.2500 . I suggest you hang on to it and get another phone rather than selling it off.

PS: You can try selling it through ebay.

Usual options include: ebay, TBHP Classifieds, Kijiji, Locanto, Sulekha etc. However, of all of these, I found ebay to be most effective, although it charges 4.5% fee

Great phone. Much faster than E51. Its fits in you hand comfortably; not bulky. Better built too, similar to E51. Love the QWERTY keyboard. From my experience based on using one which Jerrish666 owns.

A winner from Nokia.
