If budget permits go for E71.

yeah the 5800XM is out. The only thing i would like about the E71 over the E63 is the slimness and the sexy looks but the E63 is fine too. I dont need GPS and i have a canon 10.1 MP digi so the phone cam is of little consequence to me. The E63 is damn cheap though . One question, is the screen size of the 71 and 63 the same?

@caliatenza, I'd suggest the E63, if you don't want GPS. The E63 is a bit thicker than the E71. The E63 has a (very well built) plastic body, but the E71 has a very sold metal body.

Some reviews say that the E63's screen is a few mm smaller than the E71's screen. I don't think that much difference (if at all it is there) should really influence the decision. The E63 is great value for money at that price.

2.)Asus P527- So, please suggest , within this budget ,if any other alternative exists.
And now am considering Samsung i780 also, a very good all-rounder ,atleast on paper.
Opinions/advice on Sam'ng i780 please.

It is supposed to cover about 200 cities in all.
I am travelling to Chennai next weekend. Will be testing it around there.

Update: bought the E63 . WinMo was colorful and stylish but am not patient enough for the 64 mb RAM.
E63 on the other hand is young and charming.
BTW, nokia did an excellent job with the browser. Opera is no match.

Yes,E71 sure looks quite good, but there is a price you pay for that.
So, if you don't mind that extra 7K, go get it.
For me, a secondary camera ,HSCDPA and A-GPS ( and a steel shell too)for additional 7K is not needed in near future. So,I settled with E63.

IMHO, if one is not too keen about S60 UI, around 19K asus P565 with 800Mhz processor and 128MB ram is the best smartphone out there.
At 17.5K Samsung i780 too is good, but again a windows phone.

the only reason i would get the 71 is for the looks..i dont need the GPS.i dont need HSDPA or hte secondary camera. But u also have to consider resale value as well...

Looks like you have your mind set on the E71.

Other than the metal casing, GPS and the 3.2 MP camera, the E63 is just as good a phone!

BTW, you could find your way in the dark with the E63

Well seems like a good offer.

Check the specs here:
BlackBerry Pearl Smartphones - BlackBerry Pearl 8100 - 8130 & More at BlackBerry.com

I have used only 2 blackberry phones till now and they were quiet fast. NO lag or hangups.
