Ya, you can purchase data cable from Alfa, I purchased many things from it and never faced any problem

E63 is without the GPS chip, nokia maps is installed but its to be used with a bluetooth GPS! The whole GPS/NAVIGATION experience with nokia maps is not too good. I used MAP MY INDIA and their navigation on a Black berry bold and it was incredible. The Map was very detailed and also very accurated!

I use my E63 for Emailing 24/7, IM, VOIP and internet. Apart from the usual SMSing and CALLING. The battery life is amazing and the phone does a gr8 job.

Do I have to have a business account and a data plan, if I wish to receive new email notifications?

I entered my gmail user ID and password in the 'Set up e-mail' on the main screen; would I be notified that I got mail, if I am connected using WiFi?
Does the type of connection (WiFi/GPRS) have anything to do with this, or is it just that I need to be connected to the internet in some way.

Well if you are connected via Wifi you don't need data plan. But if wifi is not available you will need GPRS. And yes you will be notified if you got new e-mail.

My bro is getting it at 22k from US which he wants to bring here and sell it, Does it sounds a good deal?

Hi friends,

I am looking for E71 or BB Bold. I got a offer of 15K for new E71 with b&W. Today I also got offer for BB Bold barely used for 5 hrs for 25K in mumbai. and another 25k-26k offer for BB Bold (almost new). However I have not seen any phone in person. I am more interested in BB Bold for 25k.

Is it a good deal. Now can you guys advice me what all things to check before buying. I m absolutely novice to BB and similar handsets.

please help me.

2-3 month old N96's with 10 months warranty remaining are selling for 21-23K here, so i don't think you will be making a profit.

If you're getting a brand new, boxed E71 for 15K, pick it up man!

In Mumbai, the E71 & E63 retail for 19.8K and 13K, respectively.
