After the first photos after a leak last week, Tag Heuer, in partnership with Modelabs has formally present his phone, Meridiist.
As a reminder, this is a phone that offers an all-metal casing (316 L Steel), a Sapphire Crystal screen against scratches, a 2-Megapixel camera, a backpack, leather or rubber, plastic or metal facade, multimedia playback (MP3/AAC/MPEG-4), a screen 1.9 "with a resolution QVGA, a higher OLED screen of 96x76, Bluetooth, an autonomy from 7am in conversation and a standby time of 28d. Count of 3400 to 3900 € € depending on the customization, for the end of the second quarter.
Alors évidemment, il ne va jouer dans le cercle de la course hi-tech mais plutôt dans le cercle fermé des mobiles de luxe.
So obviously, it will play in the circle of the hi-tech race, but in the closed circle of mobile luxury.
Pour l'avoir eu entre les mains, et quand on fait abstraction des caractéristiques, c'est vrai que c'est autre chose, on a un téléphone vraiment classe et très agréable, avec un boîtier tout métal, même au niveau des touches.
To have had the hands, and when we ignore characteristics, it's true that it is something else, it was really a telephone class and very pleasant, with an all-metal casing, even at the buttons.
Donc oui, ce n'est pas un téléphone pour Geek mais pour ceux qui aiment les belles choses, ils vont être servis, c'est un peu comparer une Swatch multi-fonctions à une Tag Heuer, ce n'est pas la même chose !
So yes, this is not a phone for Geek but for those who love beautiful things, they will be served, it is a little Swatch compare a multi-function to a Tag Heuer, it is not the same thing !

En tout cas, voici les photos officielles !
In any case, here are the official photos!

@all... The latest firmware upgrade is now available for the Nokia N82. The firmware version is 20.**.62 I upgraded mine yesterday.
The phone is even faster after the upgrade, geotagging is now possible while taking pictures yayyyyyy!, flashlite 3 support has also been added apart from a whole lot of bug fixes.

Increasingly, mobile phones are growing into evolutionary complex multifunction computers that obsolete every year. Not so much the old pocket yapping device anymore.

Still three thoughts...

<< ONE >>
Somewhere in the cracks, there will always be consumers whose ability to judge high-tech, is stupefied by the glint of stainless steel and titanium finishes and quartz bezels.

<< TWO >>
Silicon microelectronics tech. has evolved to a point where
even metal and bezel jewellers like Tag Heuer can stick it into their jewelry boxes.

<< THREE >>
When reliability gurus write tomes about reducing components to increase reliability, must these anachronistic fossils, stuck in the Age of Mechanization and mechanical engg. assemble a device with 430 components?

Hi guys, am currently using an N95 with a 2 gb card and am pretty ok with it. The good things about the phone is the internet connectivity, apps and web and email experience. The only thing i dont like about the phone is that the slide is a bit shaky and not very solid to use, specially when texting. I have been using this for a year now and was wondering if the lg viewty is a good buy for me. i like the looks and the features seems to be fine, but is it comparable to nokia s60 software, or am wondering if i should wait for the xperia. the n96 is out as i dont want a phone with the same software and almost same specs again.

N96 will screw up again in the battery department. It has the same 950 mAh battery as the old N95 and with a bigger screen and a lot more features its going fare even worse. I wouldnnt like my feature rich phone to die on me in half a day of usage.

Feature rich phone to die in half a day of usage, indeed!

Do we really think that Nokia are a bunch of half-brained nitwits, and the consumer who has learned to press buttons on the mobile knows better?

N96 comes with 256MB of RAM plus 16 GB of on phone flash storage and can be expanded via MicroSD flash to 32 GB more, bringing it up to a whopping 48 GB of flash storage.

It runs Symbian 9.3 as opposed to the N82/N95-8GB's Symbian 9.2
and Series 60 3rd ed. Feature pack 2, as opposed to the N82/N95-8GB's Feature pack 1.

With a DVB-H TV receiver , new codecs, music controls and auto-geotagging of photos, the N96 is a very capable instrument.

The photo functionality goes far towards providing an integrated experience between mobile, PC and the web. These are the early days of convergence -- the technology is finally hooking up into a more seamless consumer experience.

GO for it,my cousin sister has it since more than 1 nd half years and no problem at all.
Also if u can spend a little more go for the K790i cybershot.U can attach the external speakers to this phone too.Its got awesome camera(3.2 megapixle) and looks classier than the W810.

Nowadays MP-60 speakers are not bundled with the W810. U will have to buy them separately.
