Guys, is any one of you using the Sony Ericsson w660i? I've heard that it's a good cellphone and it's reviews on Mouthshut.com are excellent...however, it's camera lacks autofocus and a flash...do you think the lack of these two features is a big issue?
I would also like to know about the HTC P3400.

P.S.:Is it a good idea to purchase a cellphone from the Mobile store?

There's an excellent Smartphone Purchase Decision-making tool here: 3-Lib - Psion and Symbian software and conversion services - PDA/mobile device comparison

Not all-encompassing, but it is something to get a really good start with, if you're all at sea about what mobile to choose.

Is it a good idea to acquire a nokia handset from China? Are they cheaper there?

Has anyone checked out the Nokia 6110? Nice navigation phone with both GSM and CDMA option.

Whats the deal with the Nokia E65?
Some retailers claim it has been discontiuned while some claim it's just irregular supply from the company.
Need to get a slide phone for my sister, does the E65 have some problem because of which its being discontinued?

Good Comparo Hydra! N82 is actually at No.2 as 1 & 2 are both N95s have to count them as one. But overall great comparison.

6110 is pretty fat and bigger compared to the E65. Also the battery life is mentioned at only 3.5 hours talktime as per nokia website !

How is the GPS on it? Does it have some subscription charges, etc?

Sahil, check out the Nokia 6500.
Looks freaking classy - brushed steel and laquered black keypad. Its a slider and looks awesome. My relative just bought it.

New mother board, latest ROM and more free space. So far so good and somehow convinced the service center to give me network unlock key after the upgrade Warranty on mother board for another year also.

Great service outfit, though there was an unexpected delay due to the part being unavailable in Bangalore. So far so good and worth the wait.

A friend has it and has been complaining- the slide function doesnt feel too good after a while and overall build quality is poor.

There's this nice tutorial on taking HDR photos with N-Series Cameraphones (esp. N82) on the Nokia Blog here.
Nice tutorial, with example pictures to show us how much better the photos can be.

HDR = High Dynamic Range imaging. [You learn something new each day. I didn't know about such stuff till I saw this blog post ]
