hold one dont go runnin, OE for 165 tyre is 36 and 33, and as far as my understanding goes greater width = lesser psi for similar dia tyre (dont ask me the logic but i derived this from 2 wheelers) and hence 33 and 31 for wider venturas!!

Hmm doesn't 33 in the front make ride a bit bumpy ??? What tyre pressures are being mantained by other people in the fourm here for their 195/65 R 14 ??

@spindoc: thanks for the link, thats for swift sport and it has a different set up. UK site has better figures that we can corelate to indian scenario although the suspension would be a lil diff there also.

@nikunj: ride at front is quite ok, rear was what i was worried about when i was using 32 and now brought down to 31

Some pics of 14" league alloys and good year ventura's on my car :-

Got the first scratch in my car yesterday, a rickshawala cam and banged into my rear bumper and that also when the car was parked . Anyway it has left a small black spot on my rear bumper, more like a beauty spot !!I think i will let it stay there , but still more such spots on different parts of the car are not very far off , is there any paint or anthing that i can use to camouflage small spots like these ??

Nikhunj, the first scratch will leave you heart-broken. The next one will leave you concerned, and from the third one you wouldnt bother too much. Thats how it worked out for me.

@nikunj .. nice alloys.
Good, so you are finally done with most of the accessories.
A few Q's -
How much did the 60.4 cost you ?
How much for the install ?
Did you use any branded wiring ?

@Nikunj... great alloys, seriously love them!!

You should've joined us yesterday... would've been a nice 100+ km run-in trip for your engine Anyway, there's always a next time... do check out the pics that planet has posted.

The ICE set-up looks nice... U already had the pio 6x9's right? good idea to drop the sub then... would've been too bass heavy. So now that the car is all decked up, there's only one question left - When do i get to see it?

60.4 - 7k ( without B/W) 9 k ( with B/W)
Install was included in the ice cost
Wiring he charged me 1.5 k , dunnow which brand .

Also there are some rattles coming after the install , particluarly from the left passenger door near the rear view mirror and a bit from the driver's side door ! Audible only on rough roads , not so much on bumpy roads , not audible with the ice on ! Any ideas how to kill the same ??

Well, getting used to them is the simplest option. Remember, its a Swift, and whats being exhibited is only the generic behaviour.

Jokes apart, i guess there is a thread on Rattles in the Technical Section.

Yes i know i missed the trip to kolaghat , feeling bad myself , some other time i guess !!
It is good i dropped the sub , I am finding the existing bass as pretty heavy and thus lowered my bass to level 1 only , all plans dropped to buy a sub now, the 'need' not being felt anymore !!
You can see my ride anytime bro , you are always welcome, nothing much to show there though !!

True , i remember reading that thread and also some people had mentioned that most of the rattling problems had been sorted out in the new Swifts being rolled out . There were no rattles at all before install , the car was super silent !!
