^^^ Confirmed, the one I mentioned above is a Pandit Automotive dealership exclusive for FIAT. It looked like it was inaugurated a couple of days back. What is surprising is that I did not see any advertisement whatsoever in any local newspaper (or have I missed it?) Since this one is the first FIAT dealership in Pune, I would expect a few hoardings at prominent places in Pune which I haven't come across at least. Wonder why FIAT wants to keep this a low key affair. Remember when Volkswagon entered the foray, they were all over the media.

Thats a good news. I also checked the 'Find a dealer' section for Pune and I did not see this one listed on the official Fiat website. Strange!

Pandit Automotive was officialy inaugrated on 19th March.Newspaper Half page ads have appeared in the top newspapers today ie 21st of march.thanks to the hoarding ban in pune for the past week, hoardings will be put up all over the place from today.Radio jingles starting today.Give it some time to make an impact.

Ok. Better late than never. Btw sidgo7, the hoarding ban was against illegal hoardings, not for people who pay PMC for their hoardings at authorised locations :) Let's see if FIAT makes any noise in the coming days.

I seriously hope that this time FIAT makes an impact. Only time will tell if it succeeds as there is a huge competition and markets down.

Some pictures for Pandit Auto showroom and service centre. Looks amazing. Unfortunately will not be in Pune for a while to visit the facility and when I will it will be to correct the hit on the bumper by a stupid black and yellow in Mumbai.

The review of new Fiat service centre by Pandit is very positive. A friend went their to drop his Punto today morning. He was greeted very well without even a minute of delay.
The staff their is mix of tilak road and akurdi service stations. The best part is all are fiat specialists. i.e they know Fiat cars in and out.
My friend reported that without even taking the trial the service advisor found the exact problem. He also met the new manager and he was welcoming guy too.
The facility is very big with many service bays. The customer lounge is very good too.
Good going FIAT.

Now THAT, looks promising. The after sales service have been the Achilles' heel for FIAT all this time. If that's taken care of, sales are surely gonna go north-wards. Hope to see one soon in Bangalore. Way to go FIAT :thumbs up

That showroom and service center look good. And its a relief to see it. I will 'test' it out when I drop off my Palio there in a few weeks for some minor squeaks and niggles. :)

Yes the service centre looks really nice as well

This is not the first one in Pune. There is already a FIAT Cafe in Koregaon park opened long time back. Infact, only Pune and Delhi got the first Fiat Cafes in the country and then the rest cities followed.

But, it will be sad if its run by Pandit. Pandit is not professional and most Tata and Fiat owners have not had good experience with the ASS at Pandit. Hope for the best.

It opened on 20th March (Wednesday). Link: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...ml#post3066437.

As a matter of fact, this is indeed the first Fiat-exclusive dealership in Pune. Fiat Cafe is not really a dealership. It is more of a brand shop!

Personally, I have had a good experience so far with Pandit. This is my second car from them (earlier being Indica Xeta). Never had a problem.

Did you have a bad experience at Pandit?

There are already 2 Fiat exclusive showrooms & service centres in Bangalore. Details are in this very thread - flip a few pages back.

Kulathunkal Motors, Trivandrum has stopped servicing Fiat cars, I am told when I called them for the 45K service booking of my Punto. Mohandas Motors is the only one who's assigned by Fiat to support the (soon-to-be-hapless?) Fiat owners of south Kerala.

Gave the car to Mohandas Motors today. Since there are no serious issues or complaints with my car and all "service parts" like fuel filter are in stock I can call myself fortunate, I learnt:). There are lot of issues with the integrated inventory software as Fiat has started use - or is it planning to start?- their own solution. As a result it is next-to-impossible to get parts which are low in demand; for example the power window motor module is not available since February, I am told.:Shockked:

Fiat is starting with their own Management systems and have implemented new Inventory softwares. So for stock tranfer process they have closed the warehouse till 30th march.

But Pandit FASS here has stocked all the parts in huge quantities so that they dont face parts shortage.

Had been to this service center in Pune when it was a property of Acumen. They used to serve TATA and FIAT vehicles at this very facility. Its nice to see such a turn over of the same place. Awesome work by Pandit auto considering the earlier state of the same facility !

The service centre floor seems too glossy & slippery... I hope the cars do not slide & take hits when moving in-out of the service bays. But, the overall ambiance of the service centre is quite bright & cheerful. This can help the SEs work good IMO.
