Isn't 110 horses not hot enough anymore? Whats the tagline - India's most fuel efficient hot hatch?

Look at what VW is planning (i hope they do launch the 1.4 TSI) and Fiat already has the 145bhp Abarth (though no one buys a Fiat)...

Re: Maruti Baleno : Official Review

So today morning while on my way to work on my Baleno Delta, spotted a black Baleno top variant. Was a bit surprised as Black was never launched on Baleno and AFAIK it is to be launched in the RS. So I tried to follow it which I could not because of traffic and police diverting me to the opposite side of the divider to ease up traffic. But crossing it, I still managed to get my fellow passenger to click a few snaps of the car.
It had a temporary numberplate with HR registration. Also the rims looked smoked grayish (not sure if it was the color or dirt), and also looked different from the stock alloys offered on the top variants currently.
I guess this is the Baleno RS 1.0 Boosterjet.
Attaching the images I managed to take of it.

Baleno sales in Europe picks up with Maruti Suzuki having production constraints to meet demand. Not yet released in all of EU.

I think the new alloys look awesome and dark shades really look good on the Baleno. It is my favorite hatch in India right now. Really hope Maruti prices this one well. Buyers like me who really value reliability, peace of mind and product support as the most important traits when buying car will finally be able to buy something beyond the usual boring ubiquitous cars without much of a risk.

Heard a rumor like Baleno RS is going to be a 6 speed auto. Does Maruti have a 6 speed box on any of its models?

Front Suzuki logo was masked when I had spotted Baleno RS at Cochin. Now it is revealed that it has a black surround.

I have seen manual gearbox in that particular car. I am not sure about automatic transmission.

This should be the version of Baleno that comes with Radar Brake Support. Not for the domestic market though. This is for the export market. The cars with radar get a specialised logo since the radar sits behind the logo.

Baleno for international markets is already on sale and I guess the testing phase of it is complete.

What is next is the Baleno RS for India, they are being spotted in mulitiple locations just before its launch. Tuning the engine for FE, driving conditions here is what is speculated being done.
