I have 4545 in my current car - this is a pre-owned car - the original owner told me that he had paid about 20K for the number. I did not care about the number at all. But every one who has seen the car has noticed and commented on the number. I still can't get the hullahoo over a car number.

We have 3636 as our car number, and it looks cool, especially considering we got it for free.

5555

I got this number for my Honda City with help from my brother, almost free HR XX P 5555. My brother also has 5555 on his car's number plate. When I talked to the RTO guys directly they said its a RTO fees of 25 K etc, however i didnt pay much when i brother talked to the right guys.

I originally wanted 9999 or 7777, however both numbers in the present series were already booked. even I am not a big fan of special numbers. I think its a bad thing as your car can be very easily identified by unwanted people.

00's anyone?

Hi Mates, I am kind of fascinated by numbers that end with "00's". Odd I didn't find any on this thread.

Our present car numbers:
Qualis - 4500
Swift - 7500
Omni (the odd one) - 6660
I wanted to get a similar number for my Lumina out here in Dubai, and the closest I could afford was 76500. That in itself cost me INR 50k, if I wanted a 7500 out here, it would cost a bomb! Btw, I am thinking hard about the number for my booked Fortuner now. Probably a 500 would do good!

Cheers

Paid 17k for the number MH-02-AP-888 for my 2005 Swift. Did it only because my mobile number is 98xxx88868.

Guys, how much would a number like "DAV 7", "DAV 1", "CHK 2" be worth?

Mind you, these are not the actual numbers, but approx ones. First two are delhi, last is chandigarh. What would be the difference between a "1" and "7"?

thanks.
