If its indeed RAV4, Toyota and Maruti have a winner on their hands. Globally the car is high in demand with months of waiting period. The car is well sorted, with good interior bits. If this clicks in India, it will be worrisome for the competition as Maruti and Toyota are two of the most trusted brands with loyal fan following.

How do you think Maruti is going to keep that 50% market share if not all this? Interestingly, this is how Maruti is functioning ever since the 80s! They stay silent for a couple of years and then suddenly disrupt the market and many rivals are left looking for shelter helplessly!

This time, they are going to attack the UV segment with multiple SUVs and MPVs. Heck they are even readying Ertiga and XL6 facelift for early 2022 with 6 airbags, sunroof and other modern tech.

The next three years (2022-2024) will be quite interesting for Maruti customers and not to forget, they will also be launching next gen Swift, Dzire, Baleno facelift, next gen Alto and also an all new hatchback (still in early stages)...... all before 2024!

Hence, yes the future is exciting for Maruti customers!

Let's hope they include safety in their agenda this time though!

Not really, They are going after multiple cars in multiple price bracket as such they need more products. Further knowing Toyota I think instead of calling it a Creta rival, its best to call it a Compass rival. I guess they are trying to complete their portfolio for the next decade in one go.

Going by the material of the camouflage, rear window cut-out and the numbers writing style, this looks to be the JEEP Meridian only.

Those alloys are for sure of Jeep Meridian. We are all so hopeful of a new Maruti / Toyota SUV, but they just surprise us with S-Cross

Looking at the kink in the tail lamps, it neither does look like the Jeep Meridian to nor the Toyota RAV4

Don't be fooled by Maruti again .Chances are ,it could be for international markets or sold by Toyota to some other countries or history repeats ( Face lifted S-Cross ). I will be keeping an keen eye over this thread.

Definitely Jeep test mules (Meridian).

The KA temp registration might appear like these are Toyota, but Jeep tests its Infotainment system at Siemens Bangalore (what i heard). Also the tail lamps looks like its definitely Jeep Meridian.

I am pretty sure it's the Jeep Meridian. The tail lights and the wheels are exactly the same.
