I voted German, would love to have that option widened to European!

There are no particular reasons for this, its more a matter of heart over mind!

I voted for Japanese. The Germans are still very close but had to choose only one.

I had to give it to the Japs for their VFM cars which are affordable, high on refinement & most importantly very MOD friendly.

Japanese for me. Going by the ownership threads on the japs and germans in India, I can only afford to buy a Merc/BMW but not maintain 'em over 10 years.

We are having almost all the countries cars mentioned here. Ford for American,VW for German,Hyundai for Korean and Suzuki for Japanese. So we common man can come in this small circle only. Among all the Japanese are my favorite for their pricing and fantastic A S service.

I was addicted to a Japanese brand for 18 years up to October 2009, when I defected to a European brand for better: Fiat Linea. I did not cast my vote since Italy is not included as an option.

I own a Ford Fiesta but I voted for Germans; the Indian Fiesta is more European (British) than American by virtues. Skoda would be my next buy.

If money was no constraint I would prefer a German car anyday, Indian conditions, Japanese cars rule!

Cheers!

Voted for the Germans, especially for their annoyingly efficient build quality. The feel of being in a German car is quite different

1. Japs: Reliable, relatively cheap to maintain. You get what you pay for.
2. Germans: Though pocket shredders, KUDOS to their robust and long lasting build, unrivalled engineering, aerodynamical sense, badge value.

The irony being that i myself own a Hyundai

German

The mind said Japanese, but the heart went out for the Germans.

Nonetheless Japanese Cars are good VFM, but somewhere the door thunk of a German car takes it away.

Attention to details, be it creature comforts, or automotive innovation, the German cars are always a step ahead.
