I bought my first cat when I was 26. It was 2007 Wagon R LXi. It costed me 3.8L onroad. I still have the car with me, though I bought my next car in 2019 (Ertiga ZXi+). Wagonr R so far has been extremely reliable and spacious car, excellent drivability in city. The only downside is vague and rubbery ger shift and harsh/trashy ride quality.

My First car was Fiat Uno diesel (Hope some of still remember that Car) in golden color which I bought as Used in 2005 for 1 Lakh in Chennai. I took personal loan to buy this car and had some amazing experience with this car for around 3 years before we upgraded to Tata Safari. I don't have the picture of car handy but will try and post it later once I am able to retrieve.

I bought my Honda City 5G on November 2021. My first car with my own earnings. I was/am 26 years old.
It’s been over 4 months and I still can’t have enough of it. Every time I drive my City, I have a grin on my face. Amazing performance, super refined engine, sleek looks. It is indeed a complete package

I was studying my MS in Texas in 2000 and after working for 2 semesters in the college, i got myself a summer internship in a local company and needed a car to go to work.
I got myself a Grey 1991 Nissan 240SX with about 90K miles on the odometer for about $2800. Loved it, it was a rear wheel drive car with about 150HP, very sporty and it had those futuristic popup headlights It was an excellent car for me and I had some great memories in it traveling all around texas in it.

This thread took me down memory lane leading to that very special moment when I purchased my first car. I was 23 and six months into my first job. I spent a good chunk of my savings to buy a superbly maintained pre-worshipped Premier 118 NE. During that time I used to occasionally travel in my father's Amby and the NE (Govt. vehicles) - I was amazed at the refinement and performance of the latter over the former. And I wanted to have it at some point (along with the Maruti Gypsy, which I was able to get much later). The only significant expenses on the NE during my 2 years of ownership were on replacing the carburettor and repairing of door panels (owing to rust). Still remember the wonderful times I had with her!

Indigo 2002. My employer used to provide a fantastic tax efficient scheme that allowed me to buy this. Drove it for ~100K KMs over 10 years and then sold it for way beyond what I was expecting at ~33% of my original on road cost. Who says Tata cars don't hold value!

Memories! Would never forget her, got my first car when I was 26 back in 2016.
She was a pre-worshipped 2014 Accord in mint condition. Had about 14k miles at the time of purchase. Drove her everywhere I went across USA, finally 90k miles later she was sold, still young at heart. I am pretty sure she is putting on happy s-miles for her new owner.

She was a great starter car: extremely reliable, used to consistently return 35-40 mpg resulting in 500+ mile range on a single tank, excellent for those long lonely drives across USA.

I purchased my first vehicle with my own money at the age of 25. Did a down payment and took 75% loan for 5 years. It was a VW Polo GT TDi. My vehicle was the first lot of vehicles delivered in India.







I loved my first car to bits and did what not to keep it the way you see above when the car was 5 years and 5 months with 65k kms.

Eventually the long clutch got to me and l let go of the GT in December 2018. I still regret selling it

I was smitten by the German bug and got another from the VW stable, the Ameo TDi DSG Highline Plus. I love the DSG box for its performance and no other auto box beats it. Got the 6 year warranty for fuss free ownership.

I owned the sexy fluidic verna 1.6 CRDI SX(O) as my first car as a 27 year old in January 2012. I just can not describe the feelings I had at the time of its delivery. Since then I have bought two more cars but never had the same excitement and feeling.

Oh boy, the memories! I was 22 back in 2011 when I bought a pre-worshipped Accord, after reading GTO's post about his Civic. It was one of the greatest I've felt when I took delivery.

Still makes me smile to this day even though it's not driven as much. Stands at around 120,000 km driven now. (With another 110,000 on the 525, looks like I've run them a lot, ha!)

At the age of 27, bought a brand new Tata Vista 1.3MJD Aura ABS model.

Drove it for a mere 38000 km before selling it off in 2017 and moved to Europe.

My first and the current car is Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 E-PK which I had bought in Jan 2010 while I had just entered 30's.
