Yes I saw your message but did not see any single post from you,use email brother,my inbox has gone mad.If you have booked it on 3rd you should get your car mostly in next 10 odd days,my gut feeling.

Keyless entry is locking and unlocking your car with a remote control, like in AUTOCOP.
I read on the forums that MUL have discontinued it in VDi and VSi models from May 1.
My VDi was delivered on 30th May, I got the keyless entry.

My friend booked a swift Vxi 2 months ago. Just when he was about to get the car, the Dzire came and he took a look and cancelled swift and went for the Dzire. he kept waiting..waiting...waiting for his "First car" and ultimately he left for the US. He now hopes it will come at least by the time he returns in 3 months!!

I was slowly thinking of buying a car 2 months ago. Decided to buy 4 weeks back. four days for loan processing+ 1 day registration and I've been enjoying my ride for the past 3 weeks.

Any waiting time upto 2-3 weeks is ok. Anything more than that, it will take out the anticipation and excitement form the car buying experience.

I went for service today at a offsite location of a major car dealer in chennai. Believe me, I counted 11 Dezires tucked away in the corner of the yard. I casually asked the watchman who replied that they are new cars and came 15-20 days ago. He said they are not sold because of RTO approval!!!!

What are the cars doing there? Are they not supposed to be on the road? I feel this is a clear case of hoarding the cars to get the recently announced price hike.

Has the waiting period come down now with the hike in prices?
