Now INNOVA

The INNOVA now comes with
  1. New bent chrome front grill
  2. Clear lens headlights
  3. New front bumper
  4. New Clear lens tail lights
  5. New Rear bumper with integrated reflectors
  6. Reverse parking sytem
  7. Automatic AC
  8. High spec information display
  9. Blackened pillars
  10. New style alloys
The INNOVA definitely looks better than the model it is replacing, and has moved a notch higher in the looks sweepstakes.

I actually saw the new Innova on NH-8 (Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway) yesterday. It looks slightly different from the existing model and does look quite good.
On a side note, a lot of us have been bashing Toyota for the 'not so good' facelift that they've come up with, but to be fair...they never created the hype. I guess I was disappointed because I've been tracking this thread for the last two month and as days passed, the expectation grew. Had the launch been in December (or November) of last year, I dont think we would be engaging ourselves in Toyota bashing like we are doing now.

From my perspective, as a potential buyer, I am more likely to buy one now than I was before.

I still standby my earlier comment though about their website...it needs a serious revamp

What about steering mounted audio controls? Its also there, right? (I would be nice to have all new things in one place)

What is number 9. Blackened pillars in your list ???

Recently mailed Toyota India regarding Automatic transmission Innova launch information and if they can provide any facility to convert an Manual Transmission to Automatic Transmission one as automatic transmission is very well available in Thailand etc.

Got Reply

Dear Mr. Kumar.

Thanks for your mail.

We thank you for the interest you have shown towards Toyota Products.

With regard to your query, we would like to inform you that as of now we manufacture only Manual Transmission model in Innova. As of now, we do not have any option of having Automatic transmission in any of our variants. Also inform you that, we do not have any plans of launch Auto Tansmission in Innova.

Hope we have clarified your query.

With Regards,
Rekha
