look's like an accord.
maybe it's the one that the head of honda has in india, i think it's the USA version.

It was driving fast on the expressway.. even in the traffic, the acceleration was quite zippy (probably due to the diesel torque)

The car shown by you is called Acura TSX, here in Canada. Attached is the pic for your reference. I have no idea about Indian specifications in case it is being launched in India in near future.

It seems to be the Acura TSX 2010 or the Euro Accord.

I think it's the Accord Euro and not the Acura TSX because the TSX has dual exhausts, whereas in the pic posted by ITNerd there is only one exhaust pipe pointing downwards.

Euro Accord(i VTEC) also has dual exhausts.This car is probably a diesel accord.

My bad. I meant that the diesel euro accord has a single exhaust.

The Accord Euro (R) and the Acura TSX are the same vehicles. The ones with dual exhausts are the performance petrols and the one with the downturned exhausts are the diesels.

That Accord and the other CR-V are diesel engine test platforms. They are doing longetivity testing for 3L KMs each. If there are no issues, the engine gets the go ahead to be launched on the Accord and CR-V.

Same car spotted today near Lajpat Nagar. The driver had a log book and it sounded a bit corse.

I guess they are they road testing the 2.2l diesel engine.
