This is true, even got a mail from Honda quoting the same price.
~13.5L is great pricing for Civic Hybrid.
This seems to be a limited period offer.

13.5 , thats a huge difference as compared to the launch price of 20+.

The guys who have bought the car with the 20+, what would be in their minds ??

I agree completely with backrub here.

But how many people do you think actually went in for the hybrid? I have just seen one here in Delhi near a friend's house besides the occasional test drive vehicle.

May be Honda is trying to clear stocks of whatever hybrids are left or is there some other catch to this?

guys, at 13.65..i think its a great buy, considering its completely imported and the quality of interiors/exteriors and specially the leather seats is of exceptional quality.
then, u getting around 50% increase in mileage. if theres no catch, i think its great.
But, cant buy one, already have a 07 civic.

May be its to clear the stocks
but its one of the biggest price cuts in the indian auto industry.

and I dont think they are selling these at a loss.

Or may be that these are assembled here or they manage to get an excise waiver!

Man , If I was searching for a car at this price , I would certainly go for it . Cool Interiors , Honda Brand Image. Anybody know the exact reason for this price cut ? May be the Government giving any Special Subsidy for Hybrid Cars ?

this is not a discount, the Indian government has waived of import duty on all hybrid cars 2-3 days back, say all honda delhi dealers, due to their green and environment friendly image.

sure its a great buy at the price. Yes, It will be the biggest price cut in Indian automobile industry.

But does it actually provide 50% increase in FE on all conditions. I think, in city drivings it will better FE, but not in highways.
