Tata Has cried wolf on ABS many times, but we're yet to see results

I am an avid Indica fan

and have been almost a brand-ambassador for Indica. I am at the moment thinking of upgrading to a 3box and eagerly waiting for the new Indigo Vista to be launched!
Linea is also under consideration but I will wait for this beauty to be launched!

Somewhere in this forum, there was discussion about New Indigo Vista is doing away with central console and coming back to traditional console in front of driver.

I saw Indigo Vista Testing on Pune Bangluru HIghway today morning. It was having central console.

I guess if the Linea with all of the above other than parking sensor can be priced at Rs. 8 lakhs ex-showroom the Indigo can be priced at that level!

As said earlier the Diwali Launch seems to be to far

Waiting eagerly for the Vista sedan. Hope that its a looker and not an add on job like the Indigo. It seems that Tata's are good at chopping (CS) but bad at adding (Indigo).

Now that Punto is launched, we can expect this in a couple of months i guess. May be around the same time as last year's Vista launch.

Some information about Launch of Indigo upgraded or "Indigo Vista" has been given by some sale guy at TATA dealership as second half of sept'09 at the earliest.

Its really looking good & also a good product from Tata, after indigo CS.
Think they will launch in September '09.

Indiva was the name for an concept van/car from TATA, IIRC.

Somehow, I feel it doesn't suit the Indigo.

One of my close friends is holding back from buying a Dzire in the hope that the Indigo Vista will provide an alternative. Considering the lack of information on launch, I am wondering if he should just go ahead and get the Dzire?

Any Tata insiders able to throw any light on when this is likely to be launched?

It will be launched after 3 months. They are waiting Punto to take its share in the market.

They will be using the same 1.3mjd engine in this car.
