Scoop: Tata Indigo 'Vista' spotted!

On 9th this month Jaguar will launch the new variant of XJ the luxury sedan. Therefore Indigo Vista wont be the only new launch from the house of Tata's.

So finally the age old XJ series gets an all new makeover.Tata might be also do the Indian launch of Jaguar with this car although its most probably going to be the XF.ACI also reported that the Indigo Vista is expected to be launched this month.

If my sources are to be believed, the INdigo VIsta won't be launched anytime before October. Besides, we still haven't seen as many test mules on the road as we did just before the Indica Vista launch - that definately points to a later launch date.

Yes I have seen a similar thread with pics of test mules doing rounds in pune. I would request the mods to please merge the threads and if possible shed some light on the confusion over the launch dates of Tata Indigo vista

todays zigwheels supplement says that tata indigo vista is coming in june.
the silhouette of the car in spy pic that they have shown seems to be in pretty advanced stage of production testing. complete with body coloured OVMs.

(: have not got the Zigwheels Edition today with TOI, can anybody scan the image of the car & post it ?

When released, going by the spacious interiors of the Indica Vista, it would be the most spacious sedan in its category.

And hope TATA rectifies all the quality related issues that are reported by the Indica Vista customers.

Just spoke to Tata-Fiat Dealer in Mumbai here
He says, he has no news about this June Launch and so it is not possible as there have been no trainings or any internal mail from the company
He however added that it might launch in about 6 months time or by Diwali (thats purely verbal and no confirmation of that too yet).

Sorry to dash hopes but, there is not even a slightest chance of Indigo launch this month, even next month.

There have been no training schedules, not even an internal sales meet for dealers so it is highly unlikely that Tata would launch a car keeping dealers in dark.

As of now, Tata-FIAT is focussing only on the launch of Grande Punto in mid-june and then allotment of 100,000 Nanos as promised.

I would personally be quite surprised if the rumours are correct and you would see another case of Tata dealers and sales teams looking blithering zapped as customers walk in to book their cars. :(

IMHO, Tata plans to launch this sedan in months preceding Navratra to bank on Diwali sales. Also, to gauge the launch time for this car would warrant actual full pictures of the car rather than covered mules or photoshop works. Once such pictures start doing rounds in media, can we sufficiently say that the car is nearing a launch date.

I am not bothered when TATA will launch Indigo vista, I'm bothered if the specs posted at maxabout is true :

They see Vista will have Aribags, ABS and parking sensor while top end model will cost ~ 6.5 lakhs. Can this be true ?

Tata was actually planning to equip the higher versions of the Indica Vista from last year itself, somehow this hasnt materialised. Perhaps they have saved this strategy for the Indigo, unfortunate as it may sound.
