| ![]() This is not an Indian AD but thought its interesting to notice the difference between Indian and Thai AD of Mobilio. Indian AD was targeted towards buyers from joint family and three genrations were shown using and loving the Mobilio (Irritating Rap though ![]() |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Spot on, that is one of my favourite ads too. What is amazing about that ad is that no competitor can say something on those lines even a decade after that ad! That was the ad that killed Maruti's competition. |

| ![]() From the recent ones I love the xuv 500 ad and the rock jingle " we live young we live free" it is shot perfectly to show the young spirit and dynamic capabilities of the vehicle. And from the childhood times I would say I have always remembered the Maruti ad where the kid says " key karey papa, petrol khatam hey nahi hounda " |

Coming back to topic, Tata has always managed to make the best ideas into ads. In comparison I thought the one for Zest is quite pedestrian. I also happen to like the VW ad of the Parsee reincarnation quite cute too. The tag "you will come back for it" is genius too. Any day better than the "you know how to drive"-nonsense. | |

| ![]() A nice tv commercial for the new VW Vento DSG automatic. Right after this ad and almost back to back was Skoda's DSG equipped Rapid. The concept seems a straight lift from the Hyundai Elite i20. I don't care much for the wheels on the Rapid Black edition but the car is a sure looker. The ad is hopeless though. VW Skoda |

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() I feel they should have given a longer pause on that slide with the specs details. Doesn't really feel like an ad for a diesel automatic. DSG was there on the petrol TSi earlier, so some people could give it a miss. |

| ![]() Just wanted to share one Safari ad which was launched in Feb: Tata Safari SOUL: In the recent ads, I really like the new Scorpio teaser & TVC. TVC specially till the bit where the car is dropped water on, post which seems just a random visuals of the car, but the right up to it, the horse scene & the music is SIMPLY AMAZING! ![]() New Generation Mahindra Scorpio: M&M I believe generally leaves out an emotional connect in most of it's TVCs. One of the time it did i.e. Live Young Live Free, my reaction was truly -> ![]() Tata Motors on the other hand(previously) used to almost always release TVCs with a deep emotional connect. I still remember the "Kuch Log Sumo Chalate Hai" for the Sumo Victa. Reclaim your life IMO is still the undisputed BEST TVC of entire TM. |

| ![]() Tata has always been good with the Safari adverts except Storme's which are pretty average in my opinion. Not sure if you remember this advert from 2002. For the full impact please watch it with a good pair of speakers or headphones. The music is epic bass. And the last line takes the cake... "There is enough wildlife in the city"... Makes a case for driving an SUV in the city eh! ![]() |

| ![]() Not really an Indian ad. But couldn't resist posting it here as it had been so long since I saw such an awesome car advert. This one's from Honda's official youtube channel. This is not a conventional ad. It is a two videos wrapped in one. You have got to press the R on your key board to see "the other side of Honda". Brilliant stuff!!! Honda is going turbocharged for the first time with the 2015 civic type r and what an ad to kick up the hype. The car, even though turbo sounds glorious as well. Top class job by Honda Europe ![]() http://www.youtube.com/user/HondaVideo/OtherSide |
