AFAIK, ACI used FRK's equipment at Bbay. What makes u think that the equipment is rigged? For whose benefit? This is OT though, so lets take this to PM.

Looking forward to seeing a lot of exotics. With all the F430s, DB9s, Lambos, R-35s around, hopefully some should participate.

Is this event sanctioned by FMSCI/MAI? If so its their job to make sure that the equipment is properly calibrated and not rigged.

Yes, its approved by FMSCI. This is India. Even the regular road racing events run faulty transponders. What the hell is this.
Somehow the show will run.
Last year a karizma did 12 secs.

Hi,

I guess this is the site you are talking about Welcome - APMSC Website

When I click on it, it says the website is still under construction.

Is there another site where the rules are uploaded? If yes! Then can you please post the link?

Cheers
Shrey

This is the website -- Andhra Pradesh Motor Sports Club , and they have links to the SRs for cars and bikes on the home page.

The SR for cars looks suspiciously like an old Speed Run rulebook, with a few names and dates changed. The entry classification is quite ambiguous, at first glance. It does not allow for modified NA vehicles to be competitive, as there is no separate pro-stock class. Also, turbos and superchargers have a multiplication factor, but nitrous is allowed without any such factor.

The Rules and Regulations seem to be very specific and detailed.
This looks like a good show.

Can someone throw some light on what does one mean by "showroom stock"?

Does it mean " the car should be in the same condition as it came from the company/showroom" Or there is a set number of mods that can be done.

Like v1p3r has mentioned, nothing has been given for Nitrous! Multiplication factor n stuff!!

From where does one get a Special Race/Rally policy! Wouldn't the normal Life/Medical Inusrance work?

Although some things are clear but some need some more clarity!

Cheers
Shrey

PS: from where do we get the registration forms? will it be available in Blr?
