and rocky are you joining us in your super fast elantra

Are we going to track on Kolar ( i dont know the road ) or the same old GQ road,

cheers
The kolar road seems very strange which you have mapped. The Kolar route actually goes on Old Madras Road- via palmaneru and chitoor (bypassing both) and finally you come to the GQ after vellore. However, the GQ route will be a LOT faster - given the wider roads and straighter roads.
Think about it.

Have tried both the routes but the kolar route was faster as there is very less traffic last time i used it to go to vellore, where as in GQ, these tolls and truckers manage to ruin your drive
Meanwhile if it rains are we allowed to use the track?

My usual running time from Silkboard to Sriperumbadur via the GQ is 3.5- 4hrs- so i thought it might be faster.

Anywyas- see you all at the track!

@manek: FWD cars are less fun than RWD on a wet track.

BTW - If there is a cyclone, we may have to post pone the session.

Anybody wanting to check out a wet track?

sriraj, I read in the B'lore-Pondi thread that this route is horrible after Mulbagilu. This is as of 2nd week of Dec.
I just came back from Pondi last weekend and took B'lore-krishnagiri-Vellore route and it was awesome. A little traffic till Hosur but empty after that. And since we are leaving B'lore early; this route should be a breeze.
