From the looks of it, Bean was on the inside. So, more likely that he was trying to pass the Verna.
That said, the Verna is probably using all the 5 gears to make use of that narrow powerband.

Hi Jassi was nice to know we both work for the same firm. Small world. The exhaust note is really sweet. I have emailed u the pics let me know if I have missed any and will send them to u.

Thanks Megazoid was nice to see your Vtec on track and did see it on the way from Bangalore as well. Have a soft corner for VTEC's as I own one too but sure didnt take any good pics of it. Will do next time. Would sure have loved to know what time she took around the circuit unfortunately I guess the supply of transponders were quite late. We have a few Vtec friends who want to hit the track again let me know if you are game. PM me.

Ya Raj I though u should have got one of your cars the Vtec or the Elantra. Yep the Biryani and Thithar(its a small bird not sure of its breed) are quite famous at Ambur and Vaniyambadi just before Krishnagiri. You should try it. We had special requests for parcelling it down to bangalore but by the time we reached here it was closing time so just had our share and left.

Thanks Gilead. I should have done a better job but was just fooling around and not going gungho on the trigger. I am a novice in photography so have a lot more to learn to reach a photographers standard. Messed up most of the panning shots and also was scared to venture close to the tracks after seeing a lot of cars doing 360's and spinning out from the tower. The only safe place was the straight strech that had a good barricade and the tower which was a safe bet.

By the way bean am not sure if it was your Baleno that was heating up and had all its coolent flushed out. Was it the head gasket that gave way. I hope all is well now.

Thanks Esteem lover remember the time to beat on the track is only 1:57 seconds which is the track record helded by one Mr Akbar and the second one by Mr Radha of 1:58. So good luck next time.

Yes, I have not driven the vehicle since then, I need to get this checked..
I got really psyched up that day thinking about this problem

Nope, beans was going pretty sedate. I was taking him in 3rd there. And no I didnt use 5th at any point through the day. Did have to upshift to 4th once I ran out of power on 3rd.
