MMST Pay & Practice - 2012
Since most people wanted a separate thread for the proposed P&P @ MMST on 7th March 2010 (Sunday), here it is. Kindly post your confirmations here.

It just means "Pay & Practice session at Madras Motor Sports club Track"!

What are the full set of rules/regulations that one needs to follow? Procedure for participating, fees etc.? Exact location/timings. Can someone please enlighten upon all such info or provide some link. Keen to participate (Fiesta 1.6 Sxi).

Also, is this 7th date once-in-a-bluemoon kind of date or every Sunday this happens?

This is not a regular event and happens once in a couple of months or more.

Cost, time and other details would be shared later by the orgainizers, me guess.

Gansan: You could be a spectator:

Drivers on hire : means we drive others cars and they take care of us while we take care of their cars and show them the racing lines.

Sadly - I do NOT have a track worthy vehicle at the moment - unless ofcourse i buy a car before the day. Hence I coined the term that I can be hired to drive someone / anyone's car.

Nevertheless, please treat this as a JOKE

Oh lord!!! I so want to do this track day, but my parents are returning to India after 1.5 yrs.. will be in Calcutta on the 7th.. damn!!!

The basic requirements - Seat belts, helmets (driver and passenger) and a healthy car with decent tires. Turn up at the track on the specified date, pay the track usage fees and drive. The last time it was INR 1000 per car.

Rules - To start with keep safety as your top priority. A formal briefing shall take place before we start and all the rules would follow.

Timings - usually 1 pm till 5/6 pm.
Location - MMST - on NH 4 (bangalore highway - opposite the Hyundai Factory)

Go through the track day threads and if you are interested kindly add your name to the list.

Well P&P sessions are not blue moon occurrences. They are rather green/yellow/pink moon occurrences so participate when it does happen.

The more the merrier. Bring your wife, neighbor, Machaan, onnu-vitta-sithappaa, et all.
Just follow the track spectator etiquette and maintain decency.

If you want to ride shotgun in someone's car on the track and they're ok with it, atleast
BRING YOUR OWN HELMET!
Don't come to the track with the intention of borrowing one from someone.
