Suzuki Vitara ' face-lift' likely to be launched this year end.

Suzuki Australia has confirmed it will bring the updated 'Series II' Vitara SUV early next year.

Series II Vitara is in the plan for 2019. With further enhancements to safety and tech, coupled with attractive updates to its interior and exterior design.

expecting the upgraded Vitara line-up to offer driver assistance technologies like autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control – stuff becoming increasingly standard across competing models.

the Vitara Series II gets a new front grille and lower intake design, the latter also incorporating a radar sensor and update will include autonomous emergency braking.

there's new tail-lights which are a darker shade of red, and the reversing light has been relocated from the tail-light clusters to the centre of the rear bumper.

updates on the outside that consist of a redesigned grille, modified bumper, new taillights and two extra colors added to the palette

Suzuki has also redesigned the instrument cluster, which features a color central information display. Moreover, the vehicle has soft touch plastics inside, and the company talks about “new technology”, which will likely be detailed in September, when the car will be officially unveiled.

Gets the Turbo petrol engines - 1.0L and 1.4 L boosterjet engines.

Suzuki Vitara ready for debut at the upcoming Paris Motor show, now with an added 1.0l engine.

There's a new 1-liter base turbo mill under the hood, which will deliver 111 HP, 9 less than the older 1.6-liter, which will still be available in some markets but only with FWD. The updated Vitara will continue to have a pack a 140 HP 1.4-liter turbo, available with AWD.

Cosmetic changes aren't radical. At the front, the 2019 Suzuki Vitara gets a new radiator grille with six vertical bars and chrome accents, a more defined front bumper, fog lamps and LED DRLs. Slight tweaks have also been made to the fog lights and lower bumper.

Rear end revisions are even smaller, mainly focusing on adding LED technology to the taillights

Suzuki is big on safety technology, so the crossover is now available with forward collision alert, auto braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert. Most of this stuff will be standard on the top-end models

Next Gen( 5th Gen.) Vitara scheduled for an October release. Will get a more upright SUV Stance.



Basically following the current model, it will be a FF-based vehicle equipped with a horizontal engine, and an electrically controlled 4WD "ALL GRIP" will also be set. Its body size is around 4200mm, slightly larger than the current model.

Although the design is basically a keep concept, the exterior design of the new model is more sophisticated than the current model that has a somewhat car-like impression, giving a more SUV-like atmosphere.

the powertrain will be equipped with a direct 4 1.4L direct injection turbo (136ps / 21.4kgm), just like the current model.

The Futuro-E showcased earlier and this seems to be the same car, seeing the silhouette.

One will grow old waiting for the Vitara to finally make it to our market, after the failure of the initial models which were launched here. Not a fan of the looks of this new model though, the predecessor looked smarter and more butch. This design has been softened down several nothches, from the looks of it.

On the 'softening' part: Suzuki has to see the Seltos and understand how the straight lines can give you a smart looking SUV'ish car. Suzuki cars except Jimny are getting unnecessary curvy lines nowadays - whether it is Swift, Baleno etc.

Rumored as Next-generation Suzuki's new car strategy including Vitara revealed.

Some of them will embed into Maruti Suzuki's product portfolio. EV plans and its Toyota JV products not discussed in the portfolio.

Maruti Suzuki had originally sold the long-wheelbase 5-door version "Gypsy", so the possibility of Indian 5-door Jimny is very high. In fact, there is information that Maruti Suzuki will also start sales in December at the final stage of development.

Suzuki Vitara (Hybrid) gets a modest rating in Green NCAP test.

Even with a gasoline particulate filter (GPF), control of particulates is never exceptional. On the other hand, NOx emissions are consistently low in all tests. Efficiency is unexceptional for a car of this low weight but greenhouse gas emissions are low, especially for 'laughing gas', N2O.

Suzuki Vitara 2022, the fifth generation will be electrified.( likely to be the mid -SUV for India too)





The Suzuki Vitara will premiere a new generation in 2022.

The project is underway and, if everything goes according to plan, it will be ready to debut sometime next year.

The new generation must go a step further in this regard and although current information indicates that light hybrid technology will remain present, Suzuki is expected to raise the stakes and offer a superior alternative in terms of electrification. This is where there has been speculation about the possibility of the arrival of a full hybrid version (HEV) and even a plug-in hybrid variant (PHEV).

Suzuki will introduce a new 1.5-litre petrol engine that will become the centerpiece of the fifth generation mechanical section. And despite this race to maximize consumption and emissions, the new Vitara will continue to have full-wheel drive versions to maintain certain ties to previous generations.

The size of the vehicle will be slightly increased. It will grow especially far and wide. This will improve the available space in the cabin and the load volume of the trunk. And on an aesthetic level it will remain recognizable as a Vitara. The main changes will occur on the front. It will take a new look that will convey a more dynamic and modern air.
