Jorge Lorenzo has suggested that Yamaha's 2017 MotoGP team-mates Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales have formed a "strategy" to help each other.
Reinging champion Lorenzo will leave Yamaha at the end of this season to join Ducati, and will be replaced by current Suzuki rider Vinales. |
BRUH,Rossi, surely got a good tow but Vinales final lap was equally good without any help.

"So I think today anyway Maverick is not very happy that I was behind because if I didn't do that lap he would get pole position.
"But at the end, it's true that he helped me. I copied."

It was silly of Lorenzo and Marquez to suggest that Rossi and Vinales are collaborating. They ride for different manufacturers at this moment and neither Yamaha nor Suzuki would be pleased with this. Also, it is too early in the championship for these kind of games / risks.
Assuming that they are collaborating, it is still better for Lorenzo and Marquez to hold their comments and let results do the talking. All this drama will result in only pissing off Vinales and we very well know from last year the result of rubbing an young and ambitious rider on wrong side.
A brilliant ride by Rossi to claim the pole. He's got a very good chance to win today..it's been a long drought of wins at a circuit where he literally ruled the roost and won seven races in a row.
Ha Ha!!
Your steal my riding style, I'll steal your conspiracy theory. So there.
Hello folks, could anyone provide a link to watch the live streaming please!? please: I don't have access to a TV now!:Frustrati
What an absolute photo finish, best i have ever seen. OMG OMG, I was gasping for breath for last couple of laps. Marq take a bow and congrats to Lorenzo, that was amazing last lap. Superbly gutted for Rossi. Shame it has to happen to him in the race.

Well, what an exciting race. Not enjoyable, but very very exciting. That was pure heartbreak for Rossi, granted, but his pace is surprising. 99's ace in the hole was get away at the front and geeeeet away. And Rossi didn't let him for sure.
Absolute flier of a start by 99 though.

I know that the race is long over but here's a link I have used for a couple of races this season-

Works pretty well, atleast on my mobile phone.
EDIT: Seems like they stopped the live stream and full race replays!

What a wonderful article. This guy is clearly one of the very best - Articulate, fair, analytical. I remember reading his article on the Marquez - Lorenzo conspiracy last year and to say he hit the nail on the head would be an understatement
Thanks a ton for sharing bud!
Real sad news. May he rest in peace....
So, Yamaha engineers say that coming off a bump in the circuit upset the circuitry/machinery that controls the revs on their bikes. This caused the engines to over rev and caused the failures. Its an electronic failure. For such tightly strung machines, probably a second's folly would be enough, I suppose.
RIP Salom.
MOTOGP has lost a talented rider.
He was very competitive this year, after subdued performance in the last couple of seasons. 2013 must be his best where he fought for the championship till the last corner in a three way fight only to finish third.
RIP Luis Salom.
Let's take a moment to remember that all these guys, even the ones we might not individually like, are risking their lives every second, for their passion and our entertainment. They're all heroes.
Go fly with Marco, Luis.
RIP.
Sad to hear about Luis Salom's fatal crash. May he rest in peace.
The officials have decided not to stop the race after getting go-ahead from Salom's family. However, the track has been modified after consultation with riders and will follow the F1 type with a shortened turn10 and chicane at penultimate corner.

This doesn't sound good for Lorenzo and Rossi. Does not indicate if this problem will not re-occur in the rest of this season. Yamaha is now facing reliability issues after a fairly long time.
Hope the remaining races are not affected due to this, as the excitement is very high with intense competition from all 4 factory teams, Honda, Yamaha, Ducati and Suzuki.
