Good pics and video! Nice to see you enjoying the AWD of your XUV.

I really would love to have sunroof in my Fortuner! Unfortunately can't! There is only one model from Webesto, 300 DLX which I don't like at all. People say sunroof is impractical and all; all I say is, in a day like these, its nothing short of Paisa Vasool!

Thanks!

For most of the time, I would say 90% of the time you tend to forget/ You cant use a sunroof, Its only time like this during monsoon, While your just on a peaceful drive sunroof adds a bit of cherry on the cake, I would not hate a car for not having a sunroof but i would certainly like it if the car has it.

Of course I do not hate my car for not having a sunroof!

Have plenty of things to love about (that matter more actually).

re: My Sunset Orange Mahindra XUV500 AWD W10. EDIT : AWD Experience With Pictures & Videos!

Start and then stop, doing this a couple of times will trigger the AWD and people will notice the triggering when the rear wheels start spinning up. This method to simply insure that AWD is being triggered.

Thanks for sharing

re: My Sunset Orange Mahindra XUV500 AWD W10. EDIT : 40000 km service update

So the first most annoying problem crops up in my car, Its with the rear right door, It won't open from the inside and won't even auto lock once the car starts moving, Child lock is unlocked and its getting an issue for the person sitting there, Also have to make sure my niece stays away from that door.

Have decided to live with it till the 30,000 kms service which should probably be done in a month and a half's time.

re: My Sunset Orange Mahindra XUV500 AWD W10. EDIT : 40000 km service update

Recent drive to Bhandardara, Very scenic place specially in monsoon, A must visit atleast for a day trip, Sad to see though people making such beautiful places a mess how they did for lonavala, Specially people who drink and throw bottles, People who use bad language so you have to either move from that place or don't stop at all since any family would not like it, Anyways some pictures of the cheetah, Glad i took the XUV and not the jetta, Road condition was very bad at certain places.

re: My Sunset Orange Mahindra XUV500 AWD W10. EDIT : 40000 km service update

Great going Tanveer! Saw the videos and detailed report on recent off-roading experience. Very well executed and written too.

Bhandaradara is an awesome place! I have always missed it during monsoon though. But the best part is, an Orange car (yours or mine ) in the lush green background with large water body is a sight to behold! Had it not been your car's number plate, I would have definitely mistaken it for my car

Keep updates flowing in.

Awesome drool worthy pics as always. Totally agree with you there that all places are now being affected by the groups of random people creating a nuisance by dirtying the place and then use foul language and creating dance floors on the roads causing inconvenience to others

Thanks man, Really! Only option to avoid such people is to avoid going on weekends all together, Its very annoying to leave a place where would you really want to wait for a while (Maybe feel the climate or enjoy the scene) Unfortunately such nuts choose the best place to create nuisance.

re: My Sunset Orange Mahindra XUV500 AWD W10. EDIT : 40000 km service update

Another weekend and another drive, This to Malshej Ghat, The trip was supposed to be just for a day but well it ended up being extended for another day looking at the climate, Some pictures, And a couple of videos can be found at this link, http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-ex...ml#post4025826

Some pictures of the drive, Have to mention the sunroof was used a lot! Since the climate was amazing, On one instance the sunroof was open none of us noticed and we went through a mountain where a small waterfall falling right in the middle of the road, Result was me and dad in the front getting wet big time along with the interiors and my sister and mom having a laugh of their life!

Brilliant pics as usual Tanveer! I always wanted to drive down to Malshej ghat and explore the hidden gems around. Glad to see your orange beast having a great time this monsoon. You better be careful with sunroof the next time you are taking the beast below a waterfall

Thanks man, Take some time out and do visit, There is lots to explore there, But be careful and plan out everything on time since some of the points are prone to landslides big time! And yes will be careful the next time the sunroof is open
