Thanks abhilashvk, yes this is the improved model. They have improved the Gearbox, NVH levels and have changed the speedometer/tachometer cluster (which really looks good with the chrome lining).
I got the chrome strip at the back fitted from the dealer.

@ Kamy: yes I will get the brakes checked when I take it for checkup after 1000 kms.

@ DCEite: Have posted 3 pics of the exterior, will post pics of the interiors shortly.

Congrats!
Nice colour!

One doubt, Aveo 1.4 also has the chrome bar at the rear? I thought it was for 1.6 only!

I got it fitted separately from the dealer.

BTW, since I took the delivery on 10th August, my car is covered under the new 'Chevrolet Promise' package. But I do intend to buy their total maintenance package for Rs 8800, which would cover all servicing costs(including labour) for the next 3 years/ 45000 kms.

What's your car's month of manufacturing kamy?

From what I know, the earlier lot of Aveos (before the improved model) had Goodyears fitted. But I guess the company changed to Bridgestone later, probably with the launch of the 'improved' aveo.
And I think it was a good move because I believe, the Brigestones are quiter compared to the Goodyears.

Kamy's car is the improved one. They allocate batches some have bridgestones, some Goodyears, some Kumhos.

So, 2 brand new Aveo 1.4s on LTOs at the same time!

Arup10: stunning colour choice. Wife and I were eyeing cashmere as our second choice. But Black won at the end. Would have been good if we could have lined them up next to each other and taken some 'concours elegance' snaps!

Enjoy!

Thanks man, actually I had initially booked a Black Aveo for myself but later had second thoughts because of maintenance concerns, so changed it to Cashmere
IMO, the car without a doubt looks best in Black.

BTW, just calculated its mileage for the first time.

Total kms run - 346
95 % city driving (5% DND Flyway)
AC on - 60 to 70%
FE - 11.2
