the 20-80 run took about 9-10 seconds i guess which IMO isnt bad at all.

the rpm at 20kmph in 3rd is just about 1000rpm. the turbo kicks in at 1800-2000rpm. thats when you get a nice boost.

yup the right way to do it..step by step upgrade..give the engine some time to settle in you to get a feel of the upgrade then go in for the next one..btw how much more power does the stage2 bring in.?

so the car went for the 30,000 kms service.

it will be a normal 30,000km service. its gone to shinrai toyota.

ive taken off the petes box.

asked them to do up the suspension since there was some squeaking from it.

asked them to check up some noise from the turbo. last time at 10k kms when i had this noise it was some gasket.

also asked them to do an exhaust flush since there was some smoke at high revs.

will update once i get the car back. in the meantime im using an nhc vtec.

the car is running a lot smoother after the service. no noise from the suspension and even the acceleration seems to have gone up. hats of to shinrai. this is the first time i can say its been a 'perfect' service. the smoking has also stopped completely even at almost the redline and so has the turbo noise that was there.

managed to take the car upto 135kmph when there was a clear stretch on the 2nd bridge on the W.E highway. the car kept up with civic. i was impressed how quickly it got upto 135kmph and it could have gone more but then slowed done since it wasnt safe on that road and the bridge was ending soon. i love the petes box. peter, now how about a remap for the innova?

i will also change to synthetic next service. mobil1 delvac 1 fully synthetic oil. will have to buy 10 litres of it since the innova needs 7 litres. city motors is giving it to me at 600 per litre and hopefully they will reduce the price even more.

maybe you could give me the extra 3 litres, thats all my swift needs.

serously speaking,I have 3 litres of synthetic sitting around from the left over cans used to fill the endeavour and the verna.. I've put it all into 1 can. the oldest oil in that can would be 2 months old. is it a good idea using that oil?

or should I just use it as a flush?

i dont think it should be a problem as long as they are the same brand same oil. buy a separate engine flush like ows or something.
