I am also looking for it and will be buying very soon.
Can you post some more snaps once you install it in your car.

Yes there are three pieces. One driver side , one passenger and one single long piece for the rear floor .

Here they are installed in the car

Weird. What sort of shoes do you guys wear? Something with a sharp metallic heel? I ve been using these spider mats for several months myself and touch wood so far no worries!

I for one only ever use rubber-soled casual/formal shoes and sneakers.

My mat driver-side has developed a hole in the cover, and a depression, in the rectangular heel-rest area.

Will post a pic tomorrow.

Rather odd, considering your preference in footwear! Has anyone else been driving the car? An inconsiderate chauffeur perhaps? Seems very fishy, this holey thingy!!

Looks really nice and the price is lower too. I too am tempted to get a set of these instead of Kagu for my Swift when it becomes available for the New Swift. Not impressed by the usage reports of Kagu mats, if i'm spending 5 to 6 k on a set of floor mats i would expect it to last for 5 years atleast.

Btw, the first shipment of KAGU mats for the the New Swift will be with their Indian distributor in this month, probably it should already be there as its expected by mid August. Got this info from Kagu themselves.

Completely self-driven.

The hole is exactly where the heel would rest during normal driving.

I too wear my Puma sports shoes which have rubber sole. My formals have a hard sole but definitely no spikes :)

The 3d Kagu mats developed a big hole where my foot pressing clutch rests.

The rubber cladding does not withstand daily city driving where clutch is continuously used.

My issue is with the right foot rest area.

Does anyone know of a foolproof way to seal this hole and prevent future occurences?

I tried searching for an overlay like the one found on the Star Mats, but was unable to.

Other than this hole issue, I am very happy with the mats in general. They have a very premium look and feel, and the interior of the car looks great.

The whole look is like that of an expertly made up woman. One can never tell she is wearing make-up till one looks very closely.

These mats are like that. The car does not even look like there are any mats, and people have to look twice to see them.

Exactly same problem in my car.I have 3G Kagu Mats in my Innova for last 1.5 years.Entire stuff is fantastic but the hole near my left foot near clutch leaves me clue less.I do not think even I wear any 'spikewala' shoes. Is this manufacturing defect on all mats as multiple people have reported this?

Heard some space is not covered in the rear footwell in 3D Kagu Mats. whether you do have the same issue with Star Mats.
Can you post some more rear footwell photos in multiple angle covering the entire mats in left or right rear footwell.

Guys, I was looking for 3D mats for the XUV5OO.

I saw these 2 options -

http://www.ebay.in/itm/3D-Mats-Maxpi...-/150832060264

http://shop.cardekho.com/styling/3d-...agu~10792.html

What is the difference with the Maxpider? Any better options? I want a snug fit one.

Raj, the 3D Maxpider Kagu ones are the original ones. They come with the rubberized strip for the driver's foot-well.

The cheaper option is Star mats, costs 3K odd, material is similar, but I am not sure of the longevity, these ones have the metal strip in the driver's foot-well. Moreover, these do not have the 3D metal logos for the front mats while the former has.

Don't go for the universal ones as they won't be a snug fit, go for the vehicle specific ones.

Here is a pic of 3D Kagu Maxpider mats in the Punto.

I too had got star mats from Sai mag wheels. Experience was pretty good. Shipping was prompt, but some confusion regarding my address resulted in courier company delaying the delivery by a couple of days.

They are perfect fit for my Punto and I feel is VFM considering it is around Rs. 1300 cheaper than 3D Kagu.
