Naveen eight months is too short a life. Any specific reasons.
Usually vehicles parked under direct heavy sun gets damaged in a short while.

I park my car under direct sunlight everyday at office. The wiper used to perform really well initially. Then started to show some age later. Now I got my wiper replaced, this time with OEM ones.

Do agree with Naveen, I change the wipers almost 8-10 months once. Again reason being parking outside under direct sunlight.

Guys, i am facing a very unique problem with my BOSCH wipers. as i changed my wipers a week back, i can see a patch of fog forming as soon as the wiper wipes the windshield and again creating a hazy aura in front of the windshield for me to recognize any car or the dimensions of the road, especially when cars in front go all HIGH beams blaring over mine.

cleaned the windshield, cleaned the wipers, still the problem persists. is it normal ?

Are you sure this is not the vapours formed inside the front glass? Next time it happens, try blowing cold air on windshield by putting on AC and selecting airflow to windshield.

Otherwise it is wiper problem which is not making close contact with the glass leaving thin film of water.

It may also happen if your glass has lot of scratches from outside. This had happened with my old Alto.

This is what is happening in my car. I felt OEM blades were better than the BOSCH. I cant even think of driving my car to my hometown this weekend with these blades. Leaving thin film of water, 2 lane ghat road, heavy rain and those high beam drivers! help me!! :-)

I will get new set this week itself!

@Latheesh,

Use OEM wipers. Also try getting your hands on a good windshield wash fluid. I use ArmorAll windscreen washer fluid. You basically fill your windscreen wash bottle with a measure of this + water. It helps to avoid streaking on your windscreen and also in rain it helps clear the water droplets faster (they dont form a screen but droplets like a waxed car).

Try this.

Went to Autoshop in Koramangala yesterday to pick new Bosch but there was no stock. So picked a pair of HELLA blades which according to him is comparable to Bosch. Costed 340/- (14" and 22") for Spark. Let me see whether this work!

Does anyone know which blades would fit on an i20? Tried searching on the Bosch website but was not useful.

Buddy just measure the existing wipers or on a second thought what do you mean by which blades ? Sizing ?

Need to change my Wiper Blades for this monsoon, I have been on stock-blades ever since I have purchased my Honda Civic back in 2007. I have started getting problems as my old wiper blades have given up now. Are Bosch Wiper blades the best in the business? Can someone please help me out with dealers/specialists in south-mumbai?

Yes, I mean sizing. I am a n00b when it comes to car care and do not want to get an incorrect size.

do not worry, just measure it in inches(both the wipers) and ask for it in the shop, they will give you. You cannot go wrong on it.

I am currently facing a major problem with my OEM wipers for my ANHC. There is constant water lines when the wiper is used on the windscreen.I have tried to clean the wiper blades but that does not help. The OEMS were Syndicate and had them replaced around 6 months back.

Does anyone know if there is a Bosch outlet in Pune and what would be the exact model no. i would need to install on my Honda City? Also if indicative pricing is available it would be great.

Thank you.

My Octavia's wiper blades have started to leave large patches of uncleaned areas, obviously they need replacement. The Irony is they lasted not more than 6 months, they are Syndicate. I am trying to get Bosch this time. Let's see

Found out two dealers in Pune as mentioned below. Hopefully I will get blades compatible with my ANHC.

For comparison testing, I had an aerotwin on the drivers side and a regular bosch on the passenger side.
I could't find any difference whatsoever in performance.

It's not a question about wiping only but lasting with same efficiency too.
I agree it all depends on how one maintains and where the car is parked most of the time. If car's parked under scorching sun then no wiper in the world can satisfy.
