Hey Ajay,

Have just joined the forum but I have been keeping track of team BHP through friends - autophile and Gunbir - Most of the top end installs you may have seen posted by the same have been done together with me at my workshop. I also met some of the BHPians during the Delhi meet.

The Patel you are mentioning is Patel Auto - the Mercedes workshop next to the Siddartha Hotel which is my family business.

Personally this particular lancer is absolutely not to my taste but at the end of the day it is the customer who decides be it bad or good and I have to do the work as specified. All the stuff on the car except possibly the paint has been done by the fellow himself.....he might have tried to do it himself if he could.

I hope to be contributing more to Team BHP on a regular basis and look forward to what I think is one of the best Indian forums on all things automotive.

Cheers,

Mukul

The rear spoiler is surely to big and those alloys are way common nowadays as well as look small on the Lancer. Its written EVO VI but i doubt its any way close to the performance of one.By the way Samurai really nice shot.

Killer Lancer !

Enuff of modded Lancers, now this is what a REAL LANCER has to look like,
Pics taken in Bangalore and I am sure most will be able to guess what it's capable of ?

Not bad if it's 'simply' a mod. Probably is, as it's missing the rear wing and has body coloured door handles. However, it appears to have large diameter cross drilled and ventilated discs with Brembo calipers. For a mod, such an addition is excellent. I'm sure there's something tasty under the hood too.

Pity about the missing spoiler.

ABSOLUTELY KORREKT !!

Madan's Lancer, not cross drilled modded discs or any of that body kit was added later, if you watch Tommi makinnen's lancer , it had the same body, the rear wheels also have Cross Drilled Discs, and under the hood is a EVO VI engine which came with the car when it was imported,
remember me saying the REAL LANCER.
By the way it won the imported cars category that race at the Speed run that day and clocked a 11.3 Sec Quarter mile which was faster than Gautam Singhania's Elise and 2 Porsche 911s.
So anyone still thinks its a modded lancer, well it maybe but the mods are on the REAL LANCER.
