Yep the front bumper is a Replica Autopsyche

The dash is painted and the upholstry is leather, but the color is really really well matched, even if one looks from 6 inches away it's difficult to spot any difference. So that way the entire thing looks like it's coated in leather.

Has anybody done a complete overhaul of the dashboard in the Lancer? Or any car for that matter?
The dash/facia of the Indian Lancer, in my opinion, is very dated and unattractive. Part of my Lancer revival project would be doing up the interiors.
Can the existing dashboard be replaced with a completely new one? Making slight mods to the existing one will not really be satisfactory.
Say for example, I wouldn't mind having an Evo-type dash:

I know this is very fancy, but you get the idea hopefully...
If someone has done this or is knowledgeable about it, then would appreciate some inputs and advice. Costs involved, where to source it from, fitting etc.

Just timed-out on the Edit of my previous post... can the Cedia dash be fitted in the old Lancer? Its not bad... looks sorta similar to the picture I linked in the prev post.

I just happened to have done a complete makeover for my Lancer Glxi 2000. The results are there in my Gallery. You will get a fairly good idea of what mods / upgrades have been done..........I am not sure if the ECU of the Lancer can be played around with, but you could bolt on a turbo if you so desire. An engine transplant has its pros & cons, there are various discusssions on this forum regarding the same. I spent 6 weeks doing up my car, I can tell you it's a great feeling, seeing the dream turn to reality.

As far as I know the dashboard is not easily replaceable....yes it can be visually spruced up, with two tone paint finish - looks very neat, I have seen cars with that treatment & can assure you it may be worth exploring, it will certainly be less hassle & more cost effective....Your Call

i wanted to know if a stock lancer can actually be made to look like this... especially the hood and the front bumpers...

The same white Lancer paraded in front of Cafe 200 Indiranagar when we were there after attending Rudra's photo exhibition. Looked nice in the dark with those cool lights.

The interiors are a bit of a let-down though, color-wise.

What does she have under the hood and under the body ?

found this on e-bay. its for the mitsubishi mirage, which is pretty similar looking to the old Lancer in India. will these fit a 2000 Lancer? they look pretty similar to the units fitted in some modded lancers belonging to TBhp-ians. with shipping, this is coming to around Rs 5.5k, which seems much cheaper than the prices mentioned in this thread. are these sub-standard or something?
if someone's bought these or something similar, or know about them, pls chip in...

Are you referring to LED Taillights?
