But is that for real ? from an angle it looks like its been photoshopped .

If not he did pull of a decent job i must say considering the heavy rear of the indica to be merged into a rick !!

I clicked this today in Chennai on the Ennore road. Not at all photoshopped !

From the look of it, he's done this to accommodate another row of seating behind !

The Skoda has a nice set of alloys. Would have been great if he had removed the red strips and the scoop.

Hideous but at the same time ingenious and hats off to the guy who got the idea and got it done. Instant increase in space and more importantly better protection from the elements.

One second thought has anyone noticed the Dukkar Fiat styled door and their hinges? The doors may be from a donor car.

I'm guessing the sticker used to read as "Escape The Rules" but the first two letters fell off.

Spotted a modded Jeep at Hyd this morning looked okay. I had mixed feelings so posting here to get your comments.

@Mods: Please feel free to move it to the other thread if it doesnt qualify here
Revisiting the post again, I really doubt whether the Jeep is just a MM540 or is it a Kaiser CJ5. The body line on the back tub are similar to the ones on a Kaiser.

@Sharon : Good observation mate
and i am sure its a Willys ( now Kaiser if i am right?) as most of the modded jeeps here at Hyderabad are based on the Willys only.

But i find this mod to be more meaty than some of the older models

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

We can forgive anyone who does such a horrendous crime to an MM540, but to a Kaiser is unpardonable. Maybe it's because he cant realize what a Kaiser is. He is vandalizing a true classic.

There is a Malayalam film producer who has a collection of some fine vintage, but the cars are being maintained in a very sorry state. He has a white Morris Minor which he has done up as some sort of rally car with all the wrong rally stripes and stickers. What is really funny is that a reputed auto magazine hails him as one of the best vintage car collectors in Kerala.

Dear Mate Good evening, the persona of this car in stock is far far better. I too have an Esteem VXi 06 and till date its stock. I pity the car to have been put thru so much of pain. Owner has totally ruined its elegance.

thanks
