The scooter does look wacky with its inverted and low-mounted spare wheel. It can also be dangerous since it has reduced the ground clearance by a couple of inches.

BTW, is he headed straight into the bus?

^abdriver, he's driving in the same direction of the bus. The pics shows the bus's rear, not the front.

The scooter was actually an export version. It was called Viking or something. It had the wheel mounted that way and also had turn indicators (long before they were compulsory in India)

Yea the rear door looks small. But I love what he has done to it. Gives the monster truckish feel. A Head turner for sure. On a serious note did he cut a portion from the middle? or is it a different car all together.

I am quite sure that its a different vehicle underneath...check out the leaf springs for example!
