The small fog lamps are on stock bulbs. The Hellas are on 4000k HIDs. The Hella are only used on highways when people refuse to switch over to low beams. For the low beam I am using 3000k HIDs and the high beam is a H1 100watts halogen bulb. How I wish 3500k HIDs were available. They are the closest to stock colour.

One more advantage the bi-xenon seems to be having is the high beam. It is lighting up like high + low beam. Looks like that to me from the video.

Naveen please confirm.

Yes. It's got high beam. Single bulb Low+High.
Unlike older projector setup, where there are two bulbs, this one got only a single one.

Thanks buddy.
i think these will be readily available now in mumbai too. Unlike the usual projectors, this is a new model. I got it 8 months back. It came around 13k for the headlight assembly excluding HIDs.

Here are some pics for you.

Naveen need your assistance in finalizing on the Bi-Xenon (motorized level control) kit for my Vdi. Can you please share details of the bulb/lamp that you have installed in the kit (I understand that its a single lamp with both Hi&Low beam - make & kelvin please).

Also will appreciate if you can also let me know which lamp (make , kelvin & cost) do you have in as Fog lamps.

Looking forward to your early response.

Hi there,

The projector kit is an imported model. As for the HID's, I use Auto Gauge HIDs, kelvin - 4300k, bulb H11 or H9, don remember.

Fog - Stock

I would recommend you to go for 4300k since it provides the best visibility.
Price for the HIDs - 7.5k

Anything else, please let me know.
Cheers.!

10K including the HID's?? Is it the same projector headlights that I have ? Wow. Then it's a real bargain.

@Naveen -Thanks for the inputs mate!

So are there any BHPians from Chennai who have got the New Bi-xenon projectors Angel eyes , motorized level control (like Naveen's kit).

Looking forward to hearing contacts and garages where I could go ahead and get the same retro fitted on to my ride. The Motorized kit and HIDs.

@Sagar - Philips does not manufacture 8000K temperature HIDs. They are for sure fake ones. Philips creates only 6000K and 4300K, of which it seems they have discontinued they 4300K one.
