Where is the leveler ?

Actually while in traffic, I can see the HID beam on the car, but at an angle. Say something like 35 degrees.

Also the tip is very very rainbow-ish. Any means to avoid the same ?

I'm using the stock parking lamps. The installer couldn't source blue bulbs. But heard they cost 500 bucks for 2 ?

super sexy anil bhai!!
ab to party hogi. looks very nice. both the beams are on when on high beam? side bulbs should not cost that much. try some other source.
should will be some nut/screw kind of thing on the back of the assembly to level the beam. otherwise the throw will have a slight angle. that is as per the laws. no worries.

@ sanyam : can you make out whether its 4300k or 6000k? i guess you have 6000k and they also have the rainbow effect.

The installer though he did a great job, isnt really conversant with Angel Eyes. I dont blame him either. You rarely see Angel eyes in Chennai. So while at his place, the lights looked okay. Only when I hit the road, I could see the rainbow effect.

Both High and Low are on when on high beam. The Osram nightbreakers put in an excellent throw. Yellowish light, to take care of rains etc.

This is how it looks when both high and low are on.

Unscrewthe light,You will find 2 silver mouting which you can turn left and right with the help of a screw driver on the back side.(black part).

Get some pix's when you are on the road. so that we can get a clear idea of the throw.

That rainbow effect will come thats what you paid for!.

No it is slightly whitish. I dont see any yellow nor blue tinges. So assuming its 4300K. Here are a couple of snaps. 1st one is on the road leading to my home, and the 2nd one is shot at a traffic signal. The angle in which the light is cutoff shows that there is an alignment issue.

noidaboy,
Can you please post a pic of the mounting that you were talking about ?

anil dont want to bother you too much mate but can you click a pic of the HID against a wall. maybe 5ft from a wall on low beam. that will highlight the exact problem.

like LBM has done in the pic below. is yours the same issue?

LBM had played around with the focus to give it that effect.

The stock effect is similar to what you are getting.Little adjust might help will try and get a pic soon! Do you have any pic of the back side of your light.?

You can make vertical adjustment with a screwdriver,Anil.
The adjustment bolt on the headlamp should be loosened to make the focus go higher.

Hi,

Most projector light setups would be that way from the factory to prevent oncoming drivers from being blinded. As rightly pointed this however can be easily adjusted.

Viper
For a RHD country like India, I guess the \_\_ projection is really the right thing. And I dont plan to alter that anyway. But if you look at the 1st pic in my last post, the projection from both the HIDs is not the same. I'd like to have the throw of the right beam to also be as long as the left one. There is no point going back to the installer. As I mentioned, though the install was very very neat, he wasnt really conversant with angels.
