Okay the Angel Eyes have arrived. Now its the wait for the HIDs, Osrams and the HID Fog lamps! Hopefully everything should be in place by next weekend.

Sorry for the bad pic quality. N82 at times acts very weird. Special thanks to Viper for sourcing the same.

Not wire cutting or alteration is involved to fit these lights. They are plug and play.No issues should be there for warranty as well

Okay the puzzle is slowly getting solved. Got my HIDs from the US today.

50W ballast and HIDs. I had ordered for 4300K. But am not able to see the same anywhere. Is it written somewhere on the bulb ?

No tag on the bulb? Did you test them as yet?

There's nothing written on them. And how can I test them ? Color of the beam wont exactly tell the difference between 4300K and 6000K to the naked eye I guess.

There is huge difference in the colour of 4300k and 6000k. You can easily tell the difference once the bulb lights up and has heated up to it's optimum temperature.

6000k is pure white all the time, where as 4300k starts of white but after heating up turns yellowish. You can look at any Skodas for reference. They all use 4300k bulbs.

Okay cool. I mailed the eBay seller. He's assured me that the bulbs are 4300K. But how come they are selling the bulbs without any identification mark on them ?

Other users of HIDs, have you come across the K value printed anywhere on the bulb ?

Speaking of this. Even I have not seen any rating being mentioned on the bulbs that are present in my car. Strange.

The Osram night breakers have arrived from UK. Paid some 1100 bucks through eBay. Damn I'm turning into an eBay freak now

So the Angels should be up this weekend. I have a couple of queries though. For the indicator slot, there are no bulbs provided in the kit. So will it be a direct fit into the existing slot for the car ? Any good place to install the same in Chennai ?
