Matt black is a no-no. I remember seeing Jigarmuni's OHC & boss the finishing was crap! And on top of that flaws in bodywork are impossible to hide in matt black & the fingerprints are a pain to clean & good quality matt jobs are few & far between.

I disagree Ishaan. Matt Black, if properly done is an amazing color. Bodywork error, yea thats a problem..

Read my post again Cyrus, that's exactly what I said. I'm yet to see a proper Matt paint job done around here.

@ Jitu bhai - IMO the evo grey in post no 23 and the 2nd yellow in post no 30 will look great.

but a glossy black will definitely be a head turner - simple and stylish

take care and drive safe.

THAT would be my pick. However, i guess that would require a full re-paint, so maybe just the same color over-coat makes sense? (should finally fix that door color mis-match!)

I would go with that too. With Black gloss or matte alloys.

My budget allocated for paint job is small (20-25K) since suspension, tyres and clutch are of top priority for me now. like i said i need simplicity no jathak paint jobs as rehaan said. i dont think you can repaint whole car in (20-25k) (or im wrong). Pls advice according to my budget.
thanks

Jitu dont know much about Mumbai but here in Delhi with that budget you could get a good job done with single colour, clear coat and all at a local paint guy who would also undertake denting also but they would be doing it out in the open and without a paint booth, without proper masking, without completely stripping interiors etc. So you might end up with paint sprayed on unwanted parts like lights etc, in short it would'nt be a neat and tidy job but then again it depends upon the painter.
I would say get the mechanicals done first(supensions, tyres, clutch etc) and then wait for some time and raise the painting budget and get a good job done from a reputed guy.

@Cyrus OMG you actually went forward and did the combo and man it looks whacky.
