@Ford Rocam

nice choice of shade. Looks a bit like charming Grey which i have on my getz. Since you are changing the shade on your car, are you supposed to get that shade noted on your RC book.

Sexcellent choice of interiors Jitu. I was always concerned about the presentational aspects of your car but now you have us all caught in awe.

I would choose the first colour option for interiors instead of the Red.

Man! From where to where?
The interiors will look amazing, I can see.

So, when's the dupont dipped beauty rushing out on the roads? Can we see it displayed on the coming show?

Only doing some simple cost effective mods for interior which will do justice to
the new exterior.

Yes those seats looks hot too when you see them individually but if you look at the big picture, a yellow color seats when looked from outside on this new color exterior it will not blend & will take away the character, but with a bit dark maroon like shade (like as in pic) it will maintain the character of the ride & will compliment the exterior.
Try to Visualize.

Totally agree with the second option for the interior. Even black could be an option. The beige interior does not go with the dark grey exterior.

Cheers

Correct dude.
the Ae85 se had the flip up lamps,
regarding the AE86,
the Trueno Sprinter had flip ups, whereas the Levin had normal ones.............

The interiors seem amazing, waiting for full range of picture, Very neatly done up job. Thats the taste.

Is there any possibility for hood to get matte finish?

True, the Levin was the one with fixed type and Trueno with Flip-up ones, but Trueno was more popular as the 86 was a better car.

Since the exteriors going to be dark gray you dont have much choice.
If the car was black I would have suggested black seats with red or maroon or even white stitching.
Now it depends on whether you want racy seats or you want to just cover your existing seats.
First decide on that and then think of colors.
You can try carbon fibre look.
I have something in mind and am looking for a suitable picture.

I think this is comes very close to it

Blend in gray with red or something.

The inside colour options indicated in #100, seem to be going well with the Grey exterior of the car. Certainly an option, gets my vote.

Though one has to be careful on the shade of red/maroon....

WIP pics awaited !!

Cheers

@ Vinayvtec - It will be spray painting as dip painting is only done at factory level in India to the best of my knowledge and the paint would mostly be Standox but only Jitu can confirm that.

Viper
Thanks for explaining.

Apart from that i have plans for some simple mods to my current Dashboard using carbon fibre sheets. eg: pic of swift with carbon fibre from Carbon fibre sheets thread

The seats will be the last & might not happen immediately after a paint job cause i have not budgeted the costs of it, but it will be there for sure.
The red one looks awesome, you can even try the lambo orange. I had seen a MLA's car which was Gray color with orange seating from Stanley it was looking really great. What about the pedals, gear knob, tint and the meter conceal?
