Dealership and Accessories Store in Blr.

Thanks Revvmaster,Rudra, iceman,samurai and speedsatya
for your guidance with regards to various things that I am planning to have on my baleno...

I have got some great news (to be confirmed tomorrow) with regards to pricing of EURO II Vxi. there are 4 cars left with this dealer and he is giving it at a throw price.

The problem is the dealer is Sagar and I have heard a lot of bad things about the dealership. Any comments from the gorup???

Also would like to know if you guys have any suggestions on a reasonable and good Accessories Store in Blr.

Rgds

Sagar Automobiles - Bangalore maruti dealer

The problem is the dealer is Sagar and I have heard a lot of bad things about the dealership. Any comments from the group???

Sorry to repeat. This is my primary query to this forum as I have to confirm my order to the dealer?

The questions that arise in my mind is that is the dealer trying to hide something about the car like damaged in transit or damage in the showroom itself like ichibaan honda????

My experience is that even with 185/65 R 14 the ride quaslity becomes quite firm compared to the original 165/80 R 13. I use Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 Tubeless tyres and while the grip is like a Vice...the ride quality at speeds below 20kmph is nothing to write home about. So be careful...any lower profile and you can be in for a bonejarring ride with some extra work cut out for the suspension.
Just got my Baleno 5 days ago..have done 300 km till now.

Well, maybe this is a little late, but exactly where did you hear bad things about the Sagar dealership? I am asking simply because I just bought a new Baleno Lxi Euro III from them and the overall experience was quite pleasant. From the moment I first walked in to the showroom to the moment I drove the car out of their place, there was nothing I could point my finger at and say "They screwed up here".

In fact, the guy in charge of accessories is actually a very helpful chap who can give you very good advice on wha to go in for and what not to (even if you are not buying them from him). Haven't seen many dealers doing anything like that.

All in all, I would say Sagar is a pretty good dealer and I would recommend them to anyone buying a new Maruti.

Hope this helps.

3.8l for a 2001 model is WAY TOO HIGH!

u can get a 2002-2003 model Honda City 1.5 for that price!

About the Audio Systems, one advise to all u guys who dotn invest in Capacitors. When u can spend around 50,000+ on your car systems, then please do invest around 10,000 more for a good Capacitor for your SubWoofers!

@islandman, I had no problems with Sagar at all.

The Potenza GIII could be slightly cheaper, but all other prices seem in order. I think the headlight exchange is a bit steep, but I know zilch about electricals!

Just saw a Black Baleno at Mainland China. It was nicely modded, what was really different was the grille, the OE grille was replaced with a mesh. The license number ends with 44, does it belong to any BHPian?
