Re: Racechip manual settings needed

Guys I don't know if the blunder was because there are two puntos listed on the website.

I got the one for RaceChip, Fiat Punto (188) 1.3 Multijet 16V (1248ccm/51kW).

I'm not sure if it had to be for Fiat Punto Evo 1.3 JTD 16V and 69Kw.

Yes, Akshay mine is a 75 Bhp multijet.

Thanks guys.

Re: Race Chip (German) for Diesel Cars for Rs. 17,500

Installed Racechip on 75 hp punto and felt the car more eager to rev, however didnt felt the Woow factor. Just to understand the difference, was thinking will remove the chip and put it back to stock mode. My chip is running on the default setting of DB1

Rather than uninstalling the entire wiring, was wondering if I can put the tester ( that came with the chip) and run.

things for which i am seeking help are
- Will putting in the tester make it back to stock mode?
- Any issue in running it with the tester?

if fitting the tester and running is not an issue, then thinking of passing to service centre with the tester rather than removing the entire kit

thanks in Advance

Yes, a friend is using since last 2.5 years and I am using for over 6 months. Its a good product, but stick to default settings.

Re: Race Chip (German) for Diesel Cars for Rs. 17,500

Hello Friends, I had bought a Racechip in 2010 for my F10 525D. Never used it because of warranty issues.
Can I now use this on my Skoda Yeti 2.0tdi ? or would I need different connecting cables?
Is it recommended, or would there be any issues?
Some help will be appreciated.

Re: Race Chip (German) for Diesel Cars for Rs. 17,500

Reviving an old thread here...
I own a 2012 Punto 75 hp active model. With my warranty coming to an end in feb, I'm planning to mod the car. I'm looking at a remap or a chip to take the performance to the next level. I'll also be fitting a GC / K&N filter (and a free flowing exhaust in the near future)
I'm right now in Europe so will be able to pick up the RaceChip here (with no Delivery charges).
Can I have an update on the performance from the guys here who have installed it? 10k inr seems like a decent enough amount to experiment. If this doesn't work out I'll probably sell it off amd go in for a Pete or ToT remap.
Looking forward to a response.
Thanks in advance!
