CCM Spares - 404 Dual Sport - Crankcase Cover

Part no. 25. There are two covers, one small & the other a bit bigger. On the CBR, its on the left, above the gear shifter & the only non-painted part (save for bolts)

@JK - I think not still. Nothing much is available as of now. No parts (body/engine) can be found at the ASC.

re: Honda CBR-250R : 4 Years Up!

Got hit from behind today. Luckily save for a bit of rash, nothing broke or fell of. Parts appear fragile, but are built tough it seems

The silencer area and the right rear grab-rail were the ones hurt. I got a small rash on my rear right leg despite wearing riding pants.

It was a LML CRD-100 which hit me. That too despite putting the indicators on & signalling with hand.

I got to ride a bit more to sharpen my reflexes, had I been riding more, I would have glanced behind, but with temperature @ 7-8'c its too cold.

Going on a 1000kms road trip starting tomorrow, but in a Car :(

@Sheel,

Sorry to hear about your fall. It is good that there was not much damage to the bike and (more importantly) to you...

re: Honda CBR-250R : 4 Years Up!

Hi!

I didn't fall as unavailability of parts issue, especially the grey/silver body parts hit me the moment I was to leave the bike I balanced the bike & managed to strain my leg. There was slight pain, but its gone now.

Aha! Back to doing trips eh! Very nice shots. Bike is looking good with the background. Nice lid too. Which one is that?

Notice some scratches on the heat shield. Was this the result of being rear ended on 25th Dec? Also how many kms have you gobbled already?

No trips man, just a small ride (spanned just short of 300kms)

That lid is SparX S-07 Che Guvera replica.

That scratches are because of the protruding silencer and that ramming from behind.

Kms? Not much. 1,700 at the moment Hope to resurrect it.

Sheel,
That's some nice bit of photography amongst the mustard fields. Sorry to read that she was rear ended by an ignorant. Sparx looks good with your bike on. Hope to get to read some more TL's which will help me atleast know more on the places around the place/state you live

@Sheel,
Looks like you were trying to get rid of chicken strips in your short ride

She was rear-ended, but nothing broke or fell off.

I am trying to do short runs. Will do a Darjeeling recce soon. Shall up-date again. It will be a 500kms ride with more than 100kms in the hills. And the rest on boring E-W corridor :-| I used to do this w/o any stops, but am a bit away from riding and the recent ride made me discover new muscles, I am trying to be more fit prior to the ride. Shall up-date :-)

Ohh, even if I try, I can't. Have a look at Dr. Arnob Gupta's CBR rear tire. I just hope I reach a bit of that level.

Yes, it is automated lubrication for the chain. I am not aware of it in details though.

Does the CBR not come with an 'O' Ring Chain?
