K & N filter depends on your Year of manufacture of your Fazer. Since mine was a 2009 model , I was able to fit a YA- 1611 , which fitted like a glove.

The Fairing I have installed has enough vents to let air flow into the engine section to cool it. I have done stright stretch 100km + rides and have had no , so called "ill effects" as you say !!!. This is a well tested fairing.
Mine is a 2010 Fazer. I think the K&N YA-1611 would fit in well. I have placed an order and I will change the airfilter as soon as it arrives.

Regarding the full-fairing thing. From your confidence, it is evident that you have tried the fairing well & it has had no issues.
I was actually baffled because none of the present air-cooled motorcycles come with a full fairing.

You are right. But these custom made fairings are added to give the bikes a sporty look, and for some one like me, who can easily afford a R1, but cant ride due to spondilitis, Fazer is a boon to own and modify.

re: I'm Fazer(ed). My Yamaha Fazer & some modifications

Riding the Silk Winds:
Fazer is best enjoyed riding not on fast lane tracks or empty highways, but on city roads or while touring places.
The seating comfort is amazing on Fazer and the handle bar position doesnot hurt your back or neck. I have riden 150kms at a stretch and didnot feel the discomfort, unlike a super bike or anyother in this class.

Sweeping curves are easy to maneouvre in a Fazer but what appealed to me is the outburts of power that it can give on a stright line.
Needless to say, the desgin of the Fazer is a fusion of a racing and a sports bike, and a rider like me, who cant ride a Sports bike due to spondilitis, Fazer is the perfect answer. Yes Yamaha !!!

If you are refering to the Helmet, its a Studds make. The colour scheme was chosen by me and had blue racing stripe and decals done up.

Congrats on the Fazer! So another automobile added to your long list of collections.

Why did you leave the pilot lamp stock? Why not a white/blue LED bulb!

Wish you happier miles with this machine.

Cheers,
Anurag.

Congrats Hillram. Bike looks lovely.

I also like the way you compliment your rides with the right set of merchandise( shirt/keyring)

One observation ,your bike was a tn registered and you managed to get the same number series in hyderabad as well? (TN got replaced with AP,rest all same)

Good observation Rajesh.

I too just noticed the same.

@HillRam: How did you manage to get this done? Under which RTO are you located?

Anurag.

Anurag..I think you are getting more into personal matters, which are not required to be discussed here. Please keep your curiosity out of this forum.

Mods : Please delete the posts in regard to registration numbers of my vehicle that Team Bhpian a4anurag has posted on this thread.

Valid point.

This seems to be happening too often. !his is outright stupid & dangerous posting pictures on the internet.

Asking for trouble.
