Ah well; I used the stand once to adjust chain tension and clean, re-lube the chain. This is the first time I am using a paddock stand. My apartment guard helped with holding the bike upright or off the side stand before I could jack up the bike. I do not know if you can raise the bike safely without keeping it upright. I did not take pictures. The stand does the job and the bike is stable while on it. The end of the paddock stand is slightly raised in case you use your hand to push down on it. Your fingers do end up touching the ground but it is safe. A person with fatter fingers may end up with a small bruise.

A re lube is required this week. I'll take pictures and put it up here.

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Accessories Thread

Thanks. I was just kidding about "which weekend". I had recently enquired about the stand and they said while the workshop might have an extra it might be very difficult, if not impossible, to do it alone.

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Accessories Thread

I have the same GA engineering paddock stand , got it for 3300 with the with the spool support shipped to Kerala.

The stand is quite handy and I'm using it for a month now.
The stand is of good quality but not comparable to the branded ones , but great for the price you pay.

I have installed swingarm spools and thus its easy ,place the V support on the spools, straighten the bike with one arm and and just push the stand down with the other hand. To take the stand out just lift the stand with one hand hold the bike with the other.
I'm not sure it will be possible to use the stand with the frame support all by yourself.

Very nice photography. Thanks a lot. Is raising the bike on the paddock an issue for you?

No. I managed it quite easily yesterday evening. It was the first time I was raising the bike on my own. I left the side stand out, centred the bike, with one hand holding the pillion grab. Used my other hand to push down on the paddock. I am sure there is a easier way to do this. Maybe you can push down on the stand with your leg while holding the bike upright.

Yup. That way you can center and stabilize the bike with both hands. And the leg gives you a lot more leverage and force.

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Accessories Thread

I had made the payment for my new KTM Duke 390 last week and the sale was officially logged last Friday. On Sunday I got an SMS from Bajaj welcoming me to the family and gave me a link to a KTM app, which I promptly downloaded. They sought my mobile number and officially registered me.
The app gives me access to the KTM Duke manual. Does it offer any other benefit like news, events, deals etc?
What do the long term users of the app think of it? Useful?

Re: KTM Duke 390 - Accessories Thread

I think it's for Android users only. It says "Download link for KTM Duke Owner's Maunal for Android." Do you use iOS? If you want I can write the link here.
Regarding name of the app - I am not very tech savvy - it just says Duke Manual. I searched google playstore with that but it didn't show there.

Looks great. I am also looking for a complete set.

Please share details of cost incurred, MOC etc.

Looking to buy a complete crash set for my Duke 390. Like the look of plate type ones. Any suggestions. Would like to get the best value for money. Any review on the crash bobbins from motofusion.in
