Can you let me know the brand of those handguards? Your bike looks great, buddy, with all those accessories. However, in my personal opinion, if you had slightly broader handguards, it could aesthetically enhance the overall look even more.

The rear brake on my Dominar is similar; it doesn't provide much confidence. My friend also owns an older version of the Dominar, and both of us seem to experience the same issue. I suspect that the rear brake on all Dominar models might not be very powerful.

The handguards are generic Acerbis handguards available at all accessories store. Thanks for the input, I am considering adding a broader handguard

Re: Ridden: Bajaj Dominar 400

Hello fellow BHPians,

I'm facing a bit of weird issue with the rear brakes of my D400. The bike has lost lots of the braking power. I have to wait for the brakes to heat up a little bit (driving with slight pressure on brakes for about 0.5-1km) and then the brakes work normal. I have recently done 370km in a day, I didn't have this issue once, rather I have encountered the issue during quick city runs. After washing the bike, when disks are wet, it's like there's no such thing as rear brake. Now I know the water reduces the friction, but the brake should work at atleast some capacity even though it's wet, which is not happening.

Dominar has a big bike feel when fully loaded with a top box and saddle bags. A recent snap from my trip from Kerala to Bangalore.

Can you please share some details of the crash guard? Which brand is it, the price and any review of the same? Thank you and happy riding...

Those are stock, newer 2023 crash guards. They will replace at asc for you. Had done for my older D400.

Thank you. The tyres on my D400 are at the end of life and I need to replace them soon. While the stock ones are good, any other models worth considering? I drive mostly in the city.

If you are using the bike mostly on city there are 2 budget friendly options
- Ceat Zoom Rad X1
- Apollo Alpha H1 [I am currently using these]

These 2 are strictly for road usage. If you also do little off-road riding you can also look at the Apollo Tramplr XR
