Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

Hi, I have the 2021 Delta variant without adjustable rear headrests, and an absent rear sunshade.

Would it be possible to swap out the backrest and rear parcel tray to one from the Alpha variant?

Then I'd gain adjustable rear headrests and a retractable sunshade.!

Has anyone done it? Would the seat back be a perfect swap and require no hammering in?

I'm not that keen on a sunshade as I have a fitted net already put into my car. But the adjustable headrest is something I am absolutely urgently desirous of.

Thanks in advance

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

Maruti Ciaz to be phased out by April 2025.

Lack of updates and pivot to SUVs were key reasons for Ciaz’s declining sales.

With the Ciaz’s discontinuation, Maruti Suzuki will effectively exit the midsize sedan segment, mirroring an industry-wide trend where SUVs are pushing sedans to the margins.

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

TBHP thread on FY23-24 Exports shows Ciaz did 10,973 nos. Thats almost 1K models per month.
Domestic sales is 600.

Despite that they're dropping the model. Many other OEMs would be over the moon with 1600 monthly sales of 1 model.

But then this is Suzuki- India

Per TBHP Monthly Sales Reports Ciaz crossed 1K monthly sales in Feb'25 for the first time since Jan'23. Does this have anything to do with end of production?

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

So Maruti has discontinued the Ciaz, confirmation published in this news

https://www.indiatoday.in/auto/cars/...315-2025-04-01

Last week I had spoken to some dealers and they said no official intimation has been received.

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Official Review

Hello to all,

I have 2013 ciaz ZDI manual with 146k on the odometer.

Approx 2 months back while in peak traffic, gear got stuck in 3rd, while gear shifter became free. I drove for 3 km in that condition by feathering the clutch & over-revving the engine to my workplace.
Called the NEXA RSA, they replaced a tiny rubber bushing, as far as i remember it was attached to the gear shaft.

I am planning to do servicing early, any suggestions regarding component checkup of drive train or engine as well as any preventing maintenance?

Can i add cruise control in ciaz sigma

Hello fellow members

Very much a newbie to this forum but pretty sure I'm at a right place, so I own a ciaz sigma petrol and from couple of months I have to travel 150km to work and back on NH48 and this will go on for long as much as I know, I generally don't go above 100 and travelling on highway this frequently has made me realise how useful cruise control would have been

Since I can't change my car yet I tried finding if adding cruise control additionally would be an option I've seen lots of newer suzuki vehicles are easy enough to just connect the factory wiring of cruise control and switchs to be able to use cruise control since their ecu already is equipped with cruise control

I tried digging a bit on the internet but did not find anything related to cruise control installation in ciaz but when I looked under the dash in my fuse box there is a fuse for cruise control so I assume there's already some wiring for cruise control installed in ciaz sigma but tracking down that wire seemed impossible to me

So Has anyone tried adding cruise control in ciaz or old breeza or s- cross? (these 3 vehicles seem to share a lot of parts and similarities)

While I have myself not used it there is a third party device called Nexcruise. You can look up vides of same. There is also a thread related to same on Team BHP.

Good Luck.
